Regardless, even if you are, your brash statements that doctors don't have to be grammatically correct is a fearsome prospect for the medical profession. I can only hope no other doctor thinks the way you do.

So, the truth comes out. Wow. Ten thousand pesos is not greater than 30 thousand, and certainly not seven digits. Why would someone brag about something that is untrue? Now, even 10 thousand or $200 seems very high for the quality we're seeing.

Now, about that Antares Autotune episode and "not being involved in piracy". What did the support staff say again?

What will his fans say now? He's still fit for sainthood and should be immediately canonized? To the tune of "I want to be a porn star"? Sheesh.

My comment on these lyrics? They're ok as far as love song lyrics go. As you mentioned Rod Stewart had a similarly titled song. Neil Young had one too.

One suggestion, to differentiate from those two songs, you can say, "THE NIGHT's TONIGHT" instead.

And again, if it sells, it sells. You can't make anything consciously intending for it to sell. That's why a LOT of songwriters fail and get frustrated because NOTHING sells. If you're driven to write because you want to sell (Like the doc has been form the beginning), that's you.

The best wrongs write themselves. I'm not worried if my songs will sell or not. That has not been my intent for the longest.

Well, you got lots of suggies, but I had the idea that it could paraphrase the melody of the Rod song. His goes TOnight's The NIght, and your could go toNIGHT's the niGHT.. well, hope the idea comes across. It works like a little musical intertextual reference (very much used in movies), of course the lyric is quite different, but it could incorporate some answers or other references to the Roddie tune :-)

Well, just a crazy idea. That's probably not what you want.. but I just like to move my bricks around once in a while to see if they still can..

I've always wondered why you have to wait until page 8 to get the truth. It would be much more convenient to get it on page 1. I only judge folks on my knowledge of what they have done. It seems like Doc is a pretty useful member around here, I am not sure what to say about you and yours (and it seems the nubbinator has joined your ranks).

As for writing, who knows. Maybe in 20 or so more years, he can match the level of my songwriting.

Years-Later, Dolly Parson quietly sued him & got HER Share for Writing The Hit. But..you ask around Nashville & folks WILL tell you "Ray's one of the Nicest Guys You'll Ever Meet".

I've met him and He IS...did a Benefit Show here in Tampa for the Firefighters, years-back.
