To Graham Henderson. MP3: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7446387*************************************** The Great Divide(c) Emmrich/Leach 2009Graham crossed over that great divide That separates us from eternity He’s gone over there and left us here so to him we’ll lift our glass and cheer May the wind be at your back and the weather, always fair let it now and forever be said that what Graham had, he shared We knew him only through song and word but still his spirit shined through If we can have half the passion he felt that it can be said that we did well May the wind be at your back and the weather, always fair let it now and forever be said that what Graham had, he shared

Lovely, just lovely
A fitting tribute.
And as the Irish say,
'may he have been in heaven half an hour before the devil knew he was dead'
I remember him from when I first signed up to the board, A passion he had.

The title is compelling and the song follows up the promise.

Joice: Thanks for listening. This was done using a "bed track" (one of Graham's favorite phrases) composed and performed by Rob Leach. I was going to add harmonica, but upstairs there was a gaggle of girls having a Twilight DVD watching party. I was also forced to sing very quietly. Anyway, just felt like doing something for Graham.

Hi Kevin, I don’t know why but this one is growin on me as well as other folk songs. I've been recoding my friend as he plays his folk covers.... I think the folk thing is growin on me. "yuk" lol! I like this song but I would like to hear a lower gravely type voice sing it. have a great day! Dave
Spelling and grammer are not my thing, so excuse the type-Os... Iffin I don't review your song, sorry, I'm trying to stay with styles I like. But I do listen to all on 2 pages when I have time.

Dave: A lower gravely voice would work better, probably. Thanks for stopping by and listening. You missed Graham's tenure here, but he was very creative and prolific. Never afraid to try a song out in numerous styles.

Michele, Dan, Joanne, Greg, Calvin and Mark: Thanks for listening and commenting. I probably should have done a jazzy/blues number with a raucous harp in it, but this is the tune that came along. I am now looking forward to Wyman's, Greg's and Andy's song.
