Hi Paul, after 5 years of a dial up connection, I finally switched to the cable modem yesterday, and your youtube video is the first youtube video I've watched. And as a fellow bass player, albeit back to playing after a nearly 25 year switch to acoustic guitar, it certainly was a treat to hear that nice performance. Cool right hand technique.
I liked it. Held my interest throughout.
Thanks for sharing.

Cool Paul, you make that ax sound like a 6 string. Try a doobie and do it again. I'd like to hear that one!

Hi John-
I don't like the concept of 6 string basses. The sound quality going up the neck as opposed to going across it for the same note is different. I like the thickness of going up. As a classically trained player, I can't picture violins/violas/cellos growing extra strings to play the standard repertoire. Bach's 6th cello suite WAS written for a 6 string instrument. Ask any cellest what it's like playing it on a 4 stringer.
