MusiCares provides HepC awareness Panel Free

For those of you who don’t know already, I am hosting a really fantastic panel next week at my building (address below) on Hepatitis C. It is free to anyone wanting more information on this rising disease. I would love to get your assistance in trying to get some RSVP’s for the Hep C event on March 12. Please encourage whomever you think could benefit from this info. Let them know that there will also be food and beverage. Be sure to convey that this will be an informative and beneficial evening for anyone concerned about Hep C provided in a non-threatening and confidential environment. The panel will feature medical experts and individuals sharing firsthand
experiences in both treating and living with Hepatitis C. Panelists scheduled
to appear include musician and drug counselor Bob Forrest (Chemical
Dependency Program Director, Las Encinas Hospital), addiction recovery
specialist Harold Owens (Senior Director, MusiCares/MAP Fund), Dr. Karl
Esrasen, M.D. and Ann Behringer, LCSW. The discussion will be
moderated by Kelly Zirbes of Hepatitis C Aware.

Before and after the discussion guests are free to learn more about specific
topics and services related to Hep C. Attendees are encouraged to take
advantage of FREE and CONFIDENTIAL testing. Information on treatment
options, nutrition and health coverage will be available. Whether you have,
suspect you may have, or know someone living with Hepatitis C this event
is a must!
