LIFE’S TOO SHORT
Verse 1:
He works sixteen hour days, and drives a Mercedes Benz

He doesn’t have time, for his wife and kids

He thought that he’d be happy, with money in the bank

But his friends don’t recognize him, and he’s got himself to thank

He never dreamed, that his two million a year

Would ever cost him, such expensive tears

Chorus:
Life’s too short, to have regrets

Before you know it God will be, collecting all debts

So live for the moments, of happiness

And don’t waste your life, working yourself to death

Verse 2:
She cries herself to sleep, almost every night

She’s battling the booze, and losing the fight

All she wants to do, is drown his memory

But she can’t seem to get her hands, on enough Jim Beam

Her friends and children suffer, just like her career

And all that she can do, is cry those whiskey tears

Chorus:
Life’s too short to, have regrets

Before you know it God will be, collecting all debts

So live for the moments, of happiness

Don’t throw away your life drinking, yourself to death

Bridge:
Our time on earth is over in the, blink of an eye

Make sure that when it ends you won’t look, back and cry

Chorus:
Life’s too short to, have regrets

Before you know it God will be, collecting all debts

So live for the moments, of happiness

Because Life’s too short, to have regrets.
