I wouldn't throw it all the way into the country realm, the singing had more of a pop feel to it. But it was an enjoyable tune. Good one.

Thanks for listening and commenting Kevin and babette ; )) You're right Kevin - while I've played in Country bands for years, I've never had that Country vocal "twang". But I guess Vince Gill doesn't have it either ; ))

Hi Bob,
This is a cool tune, the singer is very good, with seamless harmonies.
The lead guitar solo seems like it's laid "over the top" of the rest of the piece, and it sounds a little awkward there, like it's in a "different space"
The recording itself could be improved, imo, some hiss that becomes apparent when all the music stops in a couple places. Is there any way to pull that back or gate the noise?
The singer could be a little more forward in the mix as well.
Overall, though, I enjoyed this very much!
Mike

Thanks Mike - the hiss has to be from the acoustic and electric guitars (fret buzz - difficult to fully dampen). Not a perfect recording by far I admit. Being not my best genre of music (Country - though I've performed it professionally), I was more into just having a good time than getting a top recording like my Pop and Progressive stuff.
Cheers, Bob
