I wrote this with a good friend of mine. The first verse is his and it fits nicely while the music builds momentum. It's very southern-fried rock. Allman Bros./Skynyrd type of feel.
"Rollin' On"
Verse-1 I bet you're wanderin', where I been, I bet you're sayin', "there he goes again", I been right here, hangin' on, Takin' on, all comers on. I don't want you thinkin', I ain't got the stuff, Whoa this ball 'n chain, Lord it's been rough. But I gotta keep rollin', Keep rollin' on, I gotta keep rollin'.
Verse-2 Keep rollin', gotta move along, People tell me, I'm livin' life wrong, Drink my days away, into the night, Boy that whiskey keeps me feelin' alright. Gettin' older now, losin' track of days, Don't think I'll ever, change my ways. Gotta keep rollin', Keep rollin' on. Gotta keep rollin'.
BRIDGE:instr./solo
Verse-3 Keep rollin', gotta get away, You know you still can't teach an old dog to stay, I hang those photographs and pictures on the wall, But without being there they mean nothing at all. Movin' down the road, keep it in gear, Turn up that radio, it's all I wanna hear. As I keep rollin', Keep rollin' on, Gotta keep rollin'.

I have music for all of my songs and they vary from rock to country to folk and everywhere in between. (except rap)

This line confuses me. The rest I like:
"Takin' on, all comers on"

"If one man can do it, any man can do it. It is true. But the real question is, if one man did it, are you willing to do what it takes to do it as well?" –Brian Austin Whitney
