Michele, you'd remember AU band The Divinyls... sometimes Nel's approach to the vocal gave it that Chrissie Amphlett nasal touch. Country/Pop is a great genre call for that arrangement!

Thanks so much, I'm so happy with how it has turned out. I was absolutely amazed when Paul emailed it to me. I'm sending it off to a publisher tomorrow. Cross your fingers for me hah.

I think also I did choose the right genre, so thanks.

As to the Divinyls, I remember the name, but can't recall anything else, as my memory isn't very good, because of my break down 11 years ago. I probably would remember them if I heard one of there songs.

I was supposed to go to Paul's on Wednesday, but I cancelled, because as I said to Paul, I would probably go to sleep at the wheel, I have been working to many hours with work. I'm going to Paul's hopefully this Tuesday or Wednesday coming, to re-do Don't push my button, and I will be singing it. Nel and Paul reckon it suits my voice. We are also going to bring in musicians, to give it a more professional sound and change a few things, so I'm looking forward to the challenge.

Thanks for stopping in and listening to Get Over It, I'm so happy with the demo, I was absolutely amazed, and I'm pleased I went with another singer, as my voice just didn't do it justice.

Here in Australia, I have been playing it to others in my work place, and they are all asking me for a copy of the song. It's very catchy, and Paul has done a fantastic job with the production, and Nel Straite, a local girl, everyone is saying she sounds like Chrissie Amphlett, the Divinyls, her voice is just Wow, and suits the song.

So get ready for my new version of "Don't push my buttons", as I will be singing it, and we have got the lyrics where we want them, so I will post up the changes soon on the lyric board to see what use think hah. Very exciting, but I gotta give up SMOKING next week, but it will be worth it hah.

Well the Genre of this song, thats so funny, I have had so many different opinions on it's Genre, that I just think Oh well, what ever Genre it is, IT'S A FANTASTIC song hah. Even my producer said, Blue's rock, so hmmm?

I have listened to a lot of Country songs, that don't sound like Country at all, it has changed a lot hey.

The main issue I have with the song is the story which is:

i'm trying to get over it

If I were writing to this title I would have made the singer look better, gone with a girl power theme
