{Post & Run Time..again!}
With Some Folks..It's "The WEATHER" As a HURRICANE Scours the Coast With Others it's Just Plain "UNCERTAIN-ty" Hey Buddy, WHAT SCARES YOU MOST?
& Some Folks are Scared of GOBLINS (Fear the DEVIL and UN-HOLY GHOSTS) There's NO Harm Fearin' THE WRATH of GOD Hey Buddy, WHAT SCARES YOU MOST?
(BRIDGE) There's MORE to FEAR Than "FEAR ITSELF" (There ARE Things BUMPIN' IN..The..NIGHT!) SO If You HEAR a Back WINDOW..BREAKING It's O.K..Ya SHOULD EXPECT..Some FRIGHT!
Now, Some Folks are Scared of DARKNESS & BE Scared of FIRES That'll Make You TOAST! OOO..How'bout that LETTER-from-THE-I.R.S? Hey Buddy, WHAT SCARES YOU MOST?
Some Days are Better Than Others & SOME Days are WORSE-THAN-THOSE.. & ME? I kinda SWEAT "The FINAL 24 HOURS"... Hey Buddy, WHAT SCARES YOU MOST?
(TAG) ..AS You Get CLOSE... {S.E.'s of CLOCKs-TICKING/BONGING-AWAY/Spooky-BOOOS/EERIE-CREAKY Stuff/SCREAMS/Etc.}
Hey Buddy, WHAT SCARES YOU MOST? ;-)>

Hi Stan, Well, as usual, there's more here than fear, and fear itself. This is deeper than one might think...it's in disguise! I like the hook and the lyric is enjoyable. This line cracks me up: & BE Scared of FIRES That'll Make You TOAST! I can only imagine what else you'll share before Halloween! (Well, I do notice a certain microwave title that I can't bear to click on!!I'm sure it's all in good fun!) Keep us entertained, Stan! Kristi
A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write, if he is to be ultimately at peace with himself. What a man can be, he must be. -- Abraham Maslow, American Psychologist

G'Mornin' Mz Sunshine!
Yeah, Wuz a tad-deeper...hence the Longstandin' Zero...heh-heh..'til You Came Along & Saved It! ;-)>
I remember a Scientific American article back when I was in college (& had time to read the Mag) they did studies of newborn babies to see if they had an innate fear of Heights. The Kiddies were placed in Box with a Glass Floor. UNDER the floor were White-Black Checkerboard Patterns that Optically-Indicated "Drops" of varying-depths. The toddler-tykes wouldn't "take the plunge"..in Most Cases.
In our own Childrearing (In a 2 story home) I came up with this Sick Baby Joke: "What goes BUMP-BUMP-BUMP-BUMP-WAHHHHHHH?" Answer: A Baby falling down the stairs the first time. "What goes BUMP-WAHHH-BUMP-WAHHH-BUMP-WAHHH-BUMP-WAHHHHH?" Answer: A Baby going down the stairs a Second Time.
(IN reality, we were Lucky we had a Mattress at the base of the stairs..don't ask "Why", I've forgotten/Junior managed to land safely after his flight. Second Launch never actually-occurred, but the Joke's lingered-on.)
AND the point is, FEAR is what helps keep us Alive & Healthy. For every Evel Kineval there are a Million of us willing to live pretty safe-&-normal albeit kinda-boring lives.
(Both "Microwave Songs" DO have Subtle Political Points bein'-Made in 'em...tho, yeah, Not-for-The-Overly-Squeamish..heh!)
Glad I didn't scare ya away from this one, at least!
Many Thanks for Your Always Kind Visit, M'Good LadyChum, & a Happy Weekend Back to You & Yours!
Big Hugs, Occasionally-Scary Stan

HiDee NeighborGuy, & Thanks for breathin' some Life into this Scare Thingy!
I sorty Copied the "Stretched Line" at the conclusion to "Big Bad John"..where Ernie sings "At the end of this shaft (or was it "tunnel"?) lies a Big, Big Man"...& breaks meter for-effect.
I've yet to ever Sing This'n'...but WILL keep Your Sug handy in case it sounds TOO-stretched/crammed the way I've penned it. (I think the line's due to get Narrated, rather than Sung, for even Better Effect. It is a kinda Crucial Line...Universal-as-Heck..with Death bein' the Ultimate "Final Frontier"...& I think every one of us IS afraid of it, to a point.)
I'm still fond of "24" hours...Death is WAY scarier when ya know EXACTLY "When It's A-Coming." (JMO, I'll admit.)
Cowards are WAYyyyy Healthier Long-Term than Brave Folks.
Waal, time to Brave the Interstate, hit the Fleamarket, get some bargain Coffee & Bird Peanuts..& begin the Weekend Yard Work. Pure Excitement!
Thanks Again for Your Kind Visit & Sugs, Amigo, & I promise to check out "Lucky Strike" when I get back from all the Excitement!
Big Guy-Hug, Less-Than-Fearless-Stan

AUTOMOBILE REPAIRS :O :O :O and certain people from Florida Scary Talented I'd say bro... You touched on quite a few of those moments of fear and trembling..... what I really liked though is you also asked the question "hey what scares you most"... For me this makes this lyric very universal as not all the same things scare the same people... But no one is scared of nothing (hmmm there must be a better way to say that) Everyone is scared of something, and since the questions been asked... well it just makes it hit that much closer to home... Tornadoes scare the begeeber out of me... Was in the Texas Pan Handle one fine August evening when some decided to touch down here or there.. (fortunatly not on top of the 18 wheeler I was presently driving)... Yet the weather that came with the twister was almost worse... I could not even see the road through the rain except for the occasional lightning flash... A trucker who had earlier passed me wound up in the ditch and a police cruiser was on seen, I got around both of them ok, but it still scared the heck out of me... Even once I got through the worst of it there were still 70mph rocking me and my truck back and forth while I tried to sleep ... At any rate not to make this run on forever, but really good story friend and can't wait to see your review of last nights flick Big (still the weekend) Guys Hugs Derek
