Sweet Eye Sing Song Copyright 2008 Paul T Wentworth
They all want to murder their mothers And put the blame on me When all I did was show them the door And give each one a key
Now they’re telling me My story’s wrong My medicine is way too strong Now here’s a word for every one You better Love your life cause it aint that long
I'm singing this Sweet eye sing song Baby Cover my cake with kisses The I cry each time a bullet flies And laugh each time it misses
The train of thought runs round and round The taj mahal’s too tall to climb But I’ve got a rope and I’ve got a mind To see the world from the top of that shrine
I'm singing this Sweet eye sing song Baby Cover my cake with kisses The I cry each time a bullet flies And laugh each time it misses
Next time that they come up to you And beg you for a dime Tell them you got things to do And you aint got the time
And when the cold wind blows so cruel You'll look outside and see your fool Still walking round with a cold red nose Eye sing clinging to his clothes
I'm singing this Sweet eye sing song Baby Cover my cake with kisses The I cry each time a bullet flies And laugh each time it misses

Worked for me Paul...and I really like this
The Wind whistles as each bullet flies And it laughs each time it misses
And the Taj Mahal as a metaphor for love is a masterstroke as well...
Nicely done..
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop

A bit too poetic for me, I seem to be missing the point of the song...I don't know what a Sweet eye sing song is.

Shayne: Well thanks for giving this one a read. I do appreciate it. And I also do not quite understand what I worte here, except I really liked the fact that the title, Eye sing can be interpreted a couple different ways. I thought I would play with it and see where it led me. I love the unexpected phrases that come to mind when I let go of control and let my mind wander.
Again appreciate your willingness to give this a try.
Paul
