It’s always good to have some prior knowledge other then just going on the net and imagine you being spoon-fed. I have just been over with my teaching lessons from a teacher and due to my busy schedule I had missed some classes which I could not get back. Then I decided to learn guitar online. That is Hotstrings. HotStrings—your source for the easy way to learn guitar—WITHOUT learning all those notes. It couldn’t be easier than this! Just download the FREE HotStrings Viewer and starter courses directly to your Windows PC. Through new daily exercises, learn all the chords, licks and shredding techniques of seasoned professionals. Play along to easy daily exercises and real songs with a real band, slowing down and mastering individual tracks. You can even earn extra money by giving your own guitar lessons.

Here's another site that is providing guitar lessons. www.killerguitarlessons.comNew lessons and teachers will be getting added on a fairly regular basis. Enjoy, and yes it's shameless promotion on my part.

LOLOL, no shame Jody, your post was a helluva lot more enjoyable to read then that SPAM announcement. So how's business these days? I've got 36 weekly students, but I have to drive to their homes (it's an in-home lessons setup). I'm hoping to renovate my current crib so that I can host students in-house and cut my travel. But online is also looking mighty enticing

Thanks Nick, It's been a bit of a hair-pulling experience to get this site up and fully functional. As of right now it's finally fully working and ready for business. Now I have to start getting all the peeps that were going to make lessons for me, to start putting them into the system. www.killerguitarlessons.comComing soon are the sites for Bass, Drums, Keyboards, Recording and Repair.

I've always started my students off with lessons in correct hand positioning. So if one of your focuses is "no callous, no pain" then you're on (or close to) the right path.

"If one man can do it, any man can do it. It is true. But the real question is, if one man did it, are you willing to do what it takes to do it as well?" –Brian Austin Whitney
