Another excellent place to post music is http://www.folkalley.com/It's under the OPEN MIC tab on the left of the page. The don't limit the number of songs you can post as MySpace does. You can even get feedback if people care to. There's also a rating system and they keep track of how many times your songs are played. As you do here, you need to register and create a profile, but thats pretty easy.

It looks like they want you to mail them a Cd. Can you upload music? I quit giving CDs away especially if I'm not sure if they will ever play it. Ben

No, you don't have to mail them cd's.
Once you create a profile there is a place to go "Backstage" and there you can upload songs in an mp3 format. They take some of the most listen to songs and put them in play on the folkalley 24/7 stream. No pay of course, as lined out in the agreement you need to click on to create a profile. I've heard a couple songs even make it to his live radio shows on Fri/Sat/Sunday nights. Don't know if there's any royalties in those thought. I've never been that fortunate.

If you mail a CD and they listen to it, which could take forever, and they like it there is a slim possibility they would put it into rotation on their regular radio show, but you can post up to five songs a day on the open mic location. Then it is up to listeners to choose to listen to it. There is a lot of music posted there.
