Hey everyone!
I am being featured February 6, 2007 at the premiere of Sample Night Live! Sample Night Live is a new monthly evening of performances offering a preview of upcoming Twin Cities arts events. Each evening features a dozen arts organizations, offering 10 minute samples of unique work. Sample Night Live offers a smorgasbord of G-Rated family entertainment in Act I and unrated art in Act II so that new audiences can sample small to large companies and independent and emerging artists, offering an inexpensive way for audiences to get a taste of what is in the Twin Cities without having to commit a full evening to a single entertainment source. As the old Vaudeville saying goes, "If you don't like what you see, wait five minutes and it will change." A full listing of January’s featured artists can be found at SampleNightLive.com. Performances are at 7pm on the first Wednesday of every month in 2008 at Bryant Lake Bowl in Minneapolis (at the corner of Bryant and Lake Streets in Minneapolis). Tickets are $15; Students and Senior Tickets are $10; Children’s Tickets (under 10) are $5. Tickets are available online at BryantLakeBowl.com or by calling 612.825.8949.

Shoot. I haven't checked the site in a while.
I ended up singing Do It Again, and Amarilli Mia Bella.
It was a fun night. I might go sit in the audience next month.

Hi Alison,
I hope you had fun because I'm being featured February 6th at Sample Night. Thanks for posting this event, I pursued it because of you. Long ways to go from Litchfield to Mpls for 10 minutes but I've traveled farther.
Maybe this time I can keep from getting a parking ticket!

Hi Alison,
Great, I'll kind of know somebody then! My wife Wendy will be there selling my CD's, stop and say Hi. Hope we get to meet finally. It is so great when you finally meet someone in person that is a JPF'er. It's happened a lot since I've been doing road stuff.

Hi Alison,
Thanks for the compliment, I had no idea who was there since I couldn't see anybody in the audience. Guess I didn't realize how important looking into actual faces, when you perform, is. It really threw me off at first. All those lights.
It was an experience. Now my friend Elaine Peacock from South Dakota has booked herself for the March 5th show. I'll be going along to be her CD seller. So I'll get to see the rest of the show this time. She has theatre experience so she may do better than I did. She'll be joining me at my monthly gig in Mannanah, MN. March 7th. (I know, where's Mannanah?)
So where can we come see you perform?
Thanks again,
Wayne

Hey Guys, Well, poop! Parden my French I missed it. With the Buddy thing and all of the kids school stuff... OK, I'll try to pay more attention. I'm glad it went well and I hope to see you guys soon. Please come out to Ginko's if you can on the 8th of March at 7PM. It should be a good show with all my usual suspects

Well, I'm not performing anywhere at the moment. My next scheduled for sure thing will be the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. I am busy busy planning a wedding and trying to buy a house this year, as well as adding to my act for ren fest. Oh, did I mention I'm trying to learn guitar too?!
Anyway, I should be performing at Sample Night Live again later in the year (hopefully to coincide with a cd release-oh yeah, I have to do that too). I'll post here if anything comes up. Or you can go to my website, I keep that as up to date as I can. Unfortunately things have been mighty slow lately.
Oh, I totally forgot. Apparantly there is video available of the performances for the performers. I have requested one, and once I get it will put my performance on you tube. Then all those people that didn't make it will be able to see it.

When I got my e-mail that gave me the addresses of those who opted into my mailing list, they said it was available upon request. I haven't gotten anything, or heard back from them yet, but I'm sure I'll get it eventually.
Thanks on the sites. My fiance is a graphic designer so I get a lot of help from him. (c:
