Hey, Stan.
This song takes me back to my days as a KJ.
It's the kind of saucy jazzy stuff that boyfriends and girlfriends want to get up on stage and sing to each other.

The bigger thought is that there's enough story line there to write a full-blown musical with this being a feature piece when the hero finally gets to sing to his gal. (I don't know where that all came from, but there it is :0)

Needless to say...I liked it.

This was a Fun Write...& It's not TOO Far-Off from what Really Goes On during that Initial Encounter..heh! (Think it's Under-A-Minute, really, that a Gal makes up her mind to "Continue" or "Delete"/Think with Guys it's about 15 Seconds, I read Somewhere.)

I see this as a Stage Piece, might make a decent Video. Just need a Kid with a Wee-bitta Elvis in him/Away ya go! (Of course, there's "Fat Elvis" Older-Guys, too, who could Sing This as-well.)

I'd LOVE to get Jerry Lee Lewis to cut this one..IF he was still recordin'...(BUT he'd never touch a song with "Elvis" in it. Got jealous/mad enough at E, he once headed over with a .38 & took a few pot shots at Graceland. Story got covered-up..but it's among The Legends.) (I heard Elvis returned-fire with a .45 & JLL headed back home in bit of a hurry.) ;-)>

This definitely sounds like a show stoppin' tune from a broadway show about the good ole' fifties ala' GREASE. I can see the scene and all...and the audience on their feet at the end yelling MORE....I like it alot. Couldn't we dredge up ol' Jerry to roll out his glitter suits and rockin' piano, for just ONE MORE?

Still, listen to "Great Balls Of Fire" & then "A Hunka Burnin' Love" & you tell me Which Guy Rocks The HARDEST, eh? ;-)>

They Both Inspire Me to write these "Hotties"...tho these are, alas, kinda Set-In-The-Past, instantly...as Rock Moves Onwards.
