I got news that a major label artist in Nashville is considering my song " My first ,last & middle name " ..I've never had a song make it past a street pitch ..I usually get an email.."sorry but you song wasnt strong enough " but this one made it ..I'm excited ! maybe the hard work will pay off soon : ) Heather

How the H*** do you get a song to a Major Artist. Well I have threatened to send to some of them but usually they send it back unopened or I never hear from them. Good luck!

awww..yall are too sweet!! thanks so much ...and Ray ..you can pitch thru www.songu.com...they have all different kinds of pitches..Major label, indie artist ,publishers, even down to musicals and songs for movies and commercials...its really helpful ..maybe check it out ! thanks again yall...I will be sure to post if any more news about it ; )

It's a very good demo of an excellent song. I wish you the best of luck. I'll be back living in Hendersonville by next Aug. I plan to put you, Mike, and a lot of the good folks to work on more of my demos once I get settled in. I'm still writing, just not doing any demos till I get back there.

I just found the news and am so darn happy for you, but am not surprised in the least. We all knew that it was just a matter of time. Does this mean that we lose you as our favorite demo artist soon? I got both chills and tears when I heard though.

Sure, listen to advice...but take it all with a grain of salt and keep trying to sell your stuff anyway. I'm really happy for you, Heather. The excitement you must be feeling is also shared by us, too!

Heather, I'd be VERY surprised if that major artist considering your song doesn't pick it up. Im not much for country music, but I LOVE your song. My professional opinion, with the right production, I think your song has the potential to be a single. I would say hit single, but a hit is determined by how far it climbs the charts. So far, I think you have a winning shot at getting picked up. Good luck and let me know how it goes. Also, email me.
