great! Just in case, have your best song ready for him on CD. It doesn't hurt to ask and some really do take them. He'll let you know-either way, say thank you! Good Luck!

Congrats Lynn! Quit an amazing connection indeed. It made me want to learn a bit more about John Mayer, so I'll post a link here to a good entry on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Mayer_(musician)#Writing Quit a history for a guy that just (barely) turned thirty. And I didn't know that he briefly attended Berklee College of Music before moving to Atlanta, Georgia in 1998. I also learned out John wants to be a designer/innovator. Quote:I'm actually into sneakers on a design level. I've got a big design thing going on in my life right now ... I love designing stuff. I mean, my biggest dream, forget Grammys, I want to be able to design an Air Max. —John Mayer (AP, 2006)[49] Wow, Air Max, cool, but when John meets you he'll get some "Cookie Max", right?! Best regards, Michael

SNEAKER DESIGN?... ME TOO! I have my sites set on "Converse" because they are a Mass company and I'm a Boston musician. I have ideas for a Superhero Sneaker, of course. *wink*
I'm sure BERKLEE "claims" Mayer as their own, but he actually quit there to persue his music career through life, rather than just through books... *smile*

Hi Cookie, Yup, big difference between LIFE and BOOKS! Real life has a way of writing it's own book, but that would be the one to edit, publish & sell. Michael
