Deborah Henson-Conant's "Inviting Invention" performance exploration series comes to the Cambridge Science Festival where Deborah will harmonize onstage with scientists and inventors to mix music and science in unique, often spontaneous and surprising ways. Each show combines performance, interview and collaboration between 2007 Grammy-Nominated artist Deborah Henson-Conant, moderator Jonathan Wyner and their special guests. Through the exploration of diverse minds, the audience is invited into the worlds of creative invention and the alchemy of collaboration. Example: How is being a nuclear physicist like being a musician, and how can the two possibly create something together - right now - in front of an audience? WHEN: April 23rd and 25th at 6:30pm; April 26th at 2:30pm WHERE: Novartis Auditorium - Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, 220 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02139 PRICE: Free FOR MORE INFO about the shows or DHC: www.HipHarp.com*This program is supported in part by a grant from the Cambridge Arts Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, a grant from the Council for the Arts at MIT and by Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research.
