Nice delivery Bob. The whole groove is good. My only criticism is that you are using too much "train sound" in the song. The song doesn't need any of the train sound to work, so I would say cut that way back. Unless , of course, it means something to you.

Hey T-Bob:

Nice to see you back!

What a great idea - constantly being reminded by the train whistle. I'm jealous...

I liked it - effects worked for me.

Nice one!

Hey Bob..

As a heavy user of sound effects I thought the train fit very well. It was not overbearing and added a lot to the song.

I thought you might have got lost in the Okeefenokee swamp, you've been missing so long. Did it take that long to change your name from T-bob to Robert Pickens?

Good job on your train song. Nice to have you back.

Thanks for the Racing Thru Time listen. (I don't want to bump it up)

Hey Bob...

Really, really nice! The vocal delivery was right on. Put me down as another one who likes the train sounds in the background. Enjoyed the heck out of it, man! Gave ya a "Hot" for this one over on Soundclick. Good luck with this one.

Rick...Thanks for listening....When I first moved to Georgia back in the 70's...I thought Georgia was one big swamp....being a Jersey kid that's what I pictured...and I've never been to the Okeefenokee Swamp yet....lol...you could get lost easy where I live.....but I love where I live...in the "boondocks"....

The name change... I had to check with immigration first that was the hold up....lol...

Yeah...I like thoses G-Nomes songs....I'll be looking back for a few of yours that I missed....In my book you get an A+ for unique style....

Take care....have a nice weekend....Bob

Bobby,

That's real nice...I really like it...maybe reduce the number of train effects...kind like the first one, just wheels on tracks, would take out most of the whistles...cool one here!

Tommy....Hey you were on my mind last night....NSAI owes me a few critiques....so I sent WSOM to them....it will be fun to hear what they say....I'll send you the audio of it, when I get it back....I know it doesn't mean much....but I'm looking forward to hearing their take on it....takes about a month....they always tear me up....that's ok....

Anyhow....How's the job thing?...Still playing out?

I've been laying low for awhile....got a song in the pipeline with Accel....I think it will be pretty good...

I actually liked this train one....told Clint awhile ago I was going to write one....not bad for me....

Yeah...the train effect...I wanted it in there....just didn't know the where and whens of it....did the best I could with it....needed the whistle....in the beginning part....

Hope you and the family are doing well.....Terri and I have had a few parent issues....I know you know about that....I'm going to give you a call one of these days real soon.....

Thanks for checkin' this one out....glad you liked it....your friend....Bob

Holy train smoke, Robin! This is really great - one of my favorites of yours. Everything about it is terrific - lyrics, music, vocal and effects. I think the train sounds are just right and not overpowering or overdone. You really must submit this to NBT records, I think John would snatch it up in a heartbeat. The next volume is due out in July so it might not make it on that one, but I'm sure he'll issue another one soon.

Clint...Terri asked me last night if Clint heard this one yet....I said I didn't send it to him....he hasn't been on the boards....

I'm so glad you liked it....You inspired me to write the train song....

Hope you and your wife are doing well....sounds like things are going great for you...I'm very happy for you....be talkin' to you....Bob

Mike....You know I'd love that and Dennis too.......

Dennis got his guitar back....he sent it off to a guy here in Georgia that works on guitars and does a great job.....

He seems happy with the results....Dennis got two guitars from some guy he worked with....a Fender strat and this Takamine acoustic/electric....the guy gave him both for around 250-300.00...the guy that just fixed the Takamine for him said it was 30 years old and worth about 1500.00....that Dennis....I've seen the Fender....I believe it's worth some dough too.....it's an older one too......

Anyway....take care my friend....hope every thing is going well....I'm at the work 20 right now....going go find a place to lay down for awhile....Bob

Hi Bob. Very nice song! Voice sounds great. Just my opinion but I thought the train sounds in the background could come up a litle bit. I like them though really nice fit. Steve
