I agree the mix is dense. Not much space. Great vocals and melody. This is going be a good one. I'm thinking the strings could be thinned a little, except at the ending where it really sounds great.

Hey Michael: The comparison has been made before but this really had a Coldplay feel to it for me. Not like any of their songs, just that it COULD be one of their songs. Hey, maybe they'll get writers block and use your stuff Loved the feel to this and the Hypnotic Lies concept. The song itself is hypnotic.... Think maybe you are on the right track thinking about losing the strings in parts of it. Love the ending! Scott

Clap Clap Applause Applause. Most of your songs are good, (I think I only remember 1 or 2 not so good) some are very good and some great. This is in the top 5. There was something alittle weird w/what sounded like a deep warped kind of vocal in I believe the 2nd verse before 2nd chorus but that's something that you can adjust. I like how the drums came in stronger as you went on. The basic melody is definitely appealing. I didn't see lyrics posted so can't comment there. I believe overall the trend line is that your just overall improving all the way around.
Best, Lynn

Okay. I listened again and it helped this time since I could follow w/the printed lyric to pinpoint the area. The area that sounds strange is in the 2nd pre chorus. In your first pre-chorus it appears that you do an almost hollow echo sound to perhaps embellish the word "hollow" and that's good but in your 2nd pre-chorus I think it's too exaggerated. Maybe you could do your 2nd pre-chorus at the same level as the first and that would correct it.
Lyrics are perfect!!! I don't say that often.

Much better. You can hear individual tracks now. It's really coming along now. Check your spelling.
