Hi Folks,
We are revamping the chapter system and this city needs a new coordinator. If you are interested in learning more, please visit the General Chapter Discussion Board for more info and to answer and ask questions. (It's easier to do it all in one place!). We will require that you are VERY active on the message boards including your own city board.
Philadelphia was, at one time, our largest JPF Chapter. It's always been an active city. We just need a leader with the time to pull it all back together!
Thanks in advance!
Brian

Yeah - Philadelphia has seemed pretty dry lately. I'd offer, but it looks like I'll be leaving this city by the end of next month. More details to follow when things are more concrete.

Hey Tom,
I was thinking of you yesterday when I found a used Ensoniq TS 12 I am thinking of buying. I think that was the last great keyboard that Ensoniq made. I sure miss those days with my working ESQ-1. (It finally wore out about the time I started JPF).

HI Brian! Yeah, I have a TS10 one of only 5 ever made with the pumpkin orange logo. Marketing changed the colors after the prototypes were made. They were really great for what they could do. But I think one of the last keyboards that Ensoniq put out was the MR series. The TS was right before that. One of the CDs we put out when I was in a band called "Mercy Street" had the MR doing all the drums - we could never find a real drummer, so we used a programmed one. We called the keyboard "Marvin Autto" on the CD jacket. So my solo project, "Orange Sky" , I used my keyboard, the TS-10 for drums and named it "T.S. Tennyson" NOw you know the inside scoop. :-)
