Tink .....Jody and Alan .... Oh I can just hear his replies to the sweet..... He'll love you for it...Tink...thank you gal..... Jody:)... How sweet of you to stop when you haven't even met... That will touch him...I'm sure....Thank you!... He was not on the last several months ....till just recently again...but was Posting regularly on JPF...before I found JPF... and WY was one who took many of us under wing and helped us on our way with writing. Alan...He'd mentioned letting you and Emily(Forest Lady) know... Although He was dreading the thought of the hospital, ..he did seem in pretty good form.... Thanks for your prayers... hugs to you all.... Kaley

WONDERFUL NEWS....... Thank you for your prayers..... y'all...
Wy doesn't like to go into his other health problems... but travel is very difficult for him...so any trips..like for a hospital stay or coming to Pineyfest...are just plain tough. He can go into that if he wishes.....so with this bleeding... It was a major concern....
Thank you all for praying for him.
Morning KKB, You can put as much of this on the board as you want. I should be back on in a day or two------ Ya' see , it was like this----I guess I owe you all one. Dr theorized a kidney stone. LARGE amounts of blood and , uh, some pain. ( He recommended drinking LARGE amounts of water) In the last couple hours last night, while preparing to go to the hospital, all at once , the bleeding stopped as suddenly as it had started. Called Dr. and he said I think you passed the stone out of the kidney and if the bleeding doesn't return, I think you're all right. And---hallelujah, slept ALL night. Who says prayers don't work. Some left over pain and soreness. , which I'd think would be expected. Thanks to everybody Wy Love, Hugs and Thanks... Kaley

Mornin' Kaley, Add me to the prayer group. Don't know Wy, but from the looks of this thread he is a well loved friend of many here on the board and one more prayer can't hurt. Best wishes Bill Just looked up and saw he is better Will contenue the prayers anyway.

I am blue to hear this. Wy, you take care of yourself, (and not just because we've cowritten). You are my favorite <grin>ner.
Saying prayers for you. Now don't make me come over there! Well, yippee! Saw the post that Wy is at home, doing ok. My husband suffered from kidney stones from excess uric acid. They are extremely painful. Vondelle

Oh that is sad Kaley. I hope things get more comfortable for him and that his good friends like you and his family draw strength from one another and pass it on to Wy! I don't know him but have only seen a lyric or two that he's done with you! It's always sad to know someone is undergoing health issues that take the joy out of life.

Wy, hurry up and get back here! You've got us all pining for you on this here old board. Kaley, if you'll send me the file, I'll cut it down to proper pixel size. I might not be able to make an edited, official bonefide movie yet BUT I can resize a photo. Digitally challenged? Yep. Me, too.

Hey, Wy. Now THAT's what I'm talking 'bout! Way to take those prayers and do an end run with 'em. Yikes, my brother-in-law had one of those and said it's the closet he ever came to passing out from pure pain, and he's an ex-pro footballer who had alot more aches than an average Joe. Happy for ya! Kaley,
I came online, excited about posting a new lyric, when I saw this and had to adjust my priorities. First things first, you know.
Wyman, you're one of the familiar friendly "faces" from an earlier time at Just Plain Folks, so I was particularly concerned when I heard of your health woes. I'm tossing up an extra prayer for you, my friend. Be strong and come back soon.
Kaley (another friendly familiar "face"), thanks for sharing this information.

Ain't sweet, Ain't sweet , Ain't sweet "Guys "aren't sweet. "Girls' are sweet. an' whattaya' mean old? <G> Now that you're all straightened out on that, well ya' see it's like this-------- At the risk of boring you all, I feel good when I first get up but I play out in two or three hours and feel like laying back down. Don't like laying down all the time. I really haven't got time to fool with this weak stuff . I've got things to do, like write some epics and stuff like that. I "am" picking up but too slow to suit me. Tricia, anybody, how do I build my blood up quicker? I'm theorizing that I lost enough blood to pull me down a bit. Did I mention I hated hospitals ? I was in a hospital once for 5 months straight . the majority of that time, flat on my back. Now you all may find this hard to believe, but the only way I survived relatively sane, was by aggravating the heck out of my primary nurse. I'm sure she felt like killing me several times. but it wasn't allowed ya' see. I could tell a story on her .but I won't now anyway. No way I can respond to everyone individually. I'm just putting this together piecemeal in "save". I "did" read the whole thread though. Kaley has done quite well responding, (thanks Kaley ). but I'll go through the thread. I'm somewhat overwhelmed. Alan, Herbie, Kaley, (Too many times to count), Ben, Ritt, Tricia, Bree, Emily, Diane , Corey, Couch, Jean B, Vanessa, Corey, Don Fox, Calvin,Jm, Steve Bobbie, Harriet, Tricia, Tricia, Tricia, Bobbie, Harriet, Shayne, Vanessa, Judy Sunny, Tink, Doodle, Alan, Bill, Idamarie, Alan, John, Joanne, Dano, Joanne, Lost bill, Vondelle, John, Linda A, Ritt, Brian Tricia, Ben, Paul, Unca' Chuck, Greg, Dave, Bill, Idamarie, Alan, John,Joanne, Dano, Joanne, Lost Bill, Vondelle, John. Linda A, Ritt, Brian, Tricia, Ben , Paul, Unca' Chuck, Greg,Dave I think I got everybody. My heartfelt thanks to one and all. I feel better already. My spirits are fine. How could they not be?, I didn't have to go to the hospital. as they say, "The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak". definitely better today than yesterday though Wy.

Liver and onions, Wy. And, a good multivitamin (Centrum or Theragran) if your physician ok's it. Are you protein deficient or are you iron deficient? Those two are separate animals, as you can imagine. If you smoke, stop it. If you drink, stop it. If you're not eating, start. You can nibble all day. In fact, that's what they say to do so you don't get so full you feel like you're going to pop. Now, me..........well, I'm too healthy. I don't have that problem. No, Wy. They docs tell me to put my fork down and to stay away from the table. Did you know there was such a thing as too healthy? Yep. It's true.

Kaley, I haven't had the pleasure of ever meeting Kim Char, unfortunately. I remember seeing some pictures of Pineyfest but that's right after Daddy died so please forgive me if I just can't remember much. I was on an antidepressant back then so I was in la la land, I guess.

Well, I seriously coulda' missed one Ben Hey Tricia, Liver and onions---Well I can go liver and onions. Not bad at all with plenty of ketchup. Emaline (Forest Lady) told me her recipe for fixing it . I already take a multivitamin. I looked at it and it has got iron , but not even the MDR and I expect I need over that for a while. Don't know on the protein or iron deficiency. On the smoking and drinking, I'm practically pure as the driven snow <G> My appetite's better than it was before all this and thirstier too, so I'm eatin' and drinkin' lots. And I'm s nibbler in the afternoon bsides, so I'm in good shape on that I figured you'd know all about it. Nursing is one of the most underrated and underpaid prfessions there is, dontcha' think? The pay for RN's and such has comeup in the last few years though. Thanks Tricia Wy

Hey Bobbie, Nope , not so great, but I'll settle for back to what I was. It's all a matter of perspective <G> Actually, on top of this, I was trying to not take cold before this came about and now I'm trying not to take more cold, but don't think it's going to develope. Heck, I haven't really had a cold in two ot three years. I take several herbals for some of my other problems and i guess that takes care of the colds too. Nssh, I'll be back to full lickin' on strength shortly. On the liver and onions,I looked on line about how to fix it and there were several replies to the sffect of "Why would you wanta' eat it anyway" However I rather like it, bur only occasionally. Wy

Wy, I wish you lived here. I'd buy you some Willis Knighton chicken livers or some calf liver and onions. Both would put junk in the trunk, hair on your upper lip and some meat on your thighs. Where I work, they don't worry about portions. Why no, it's whatever they can heap on your plate. And, if they can...they'll put extra mayo or Hollandaise sauce on whatever it is. They make this tempura battered catfish and then they drizzle shrimp spiked Hollendaise sauce over it. They call it Shrimp Lafitte. Lord, my mouth's watering now, just thinking about it. Anyway, they're proud of their food. However, they do allow us a discount. I'm so full of **** tonight. Too much caffeine.

Thanks Brian, I don't know what a stickey is but maybe it keeps one from sliding down the page as is normal. Tricia, that sounds like a nice place you work at. I guess they pay you to work there too huh? How do ya' fall into jobs like that?. "Junk in the trunk" , that made me laugh. I thought I was well versed in sayings but that one's new to me. Yep, them southerners know how to cook all right. Control yourself Tricia <G> MMMM on the battered catfish. I'll have to look up tempura, but sounds delicious Wy

Hello Wy,
So glad you're feeling better! They should hire Tricia to write an ad for them. Sounds delicious. Follow the nurses orders...
Thanks Kaley for posting this.

Hi Shandy, Thanks. I got up this morning and thought, "Heck, I'm OK again. 'Bout the middle of the morning, I thought, well, i'll lay down just a little. Danged if I didn't conk out for bout an hour. Oh, well, I'll get there. Just inpatient. Hey KK, Well things are picking up anyway. Started two new songs. Need to do some critiquing, but 'bout all I get done is sleep and eat (doing plenty of both those), and do the necessary stuff Wy

Wy, Great to see you're up and around again. Those kidney stones are wicked painful!!!! I had one back in 1998 and I sure don't ever want another one. Doctors say they're the closest pain a man can endure to childbirth. If that's the case...WHEW! I feel for all the mothers out there. Glad you're feeling better friend. Dano.

Wy If you don't like liver and onions particularly, try either smothering it in ketchup OR maybe you'd like chopped liver better and eat it cold...I like it both ways....
I think avocado would be very good for you also (it's a good fat) make some guacomole with lots of onions buddy.
Glad you're feelin better

Hey Vondelle, Why yeah, I feel good enough to listen to "Roses" <G> Actually, when I thought of it today, it generated a new song---"Walking through Roses", as of now, kind of a bittersweet love song. Thanks for stopping by again. Yep Tricia is....good advertising Hi Dano, I know kidney stones can be extremely painful. The Dr.said it varies a great deal with different people. I don't think mine was nearly as bad as some. 'Course, it's still partly guesswork. Haven't seen a stone yet but it fits all the criteria. As to the childbirth thing, we might not get too much sympathy from some of the fairer sex. They might say "Well, how do ya' like it?" <G> Thanks for the return visit Wy
