Yeah, it's been a bit quiet around here. I've actually been spending my free time catching up on my industry mag reading (when I'm not in the studio, practicing, writing, or helping out with various songwriter/artist events such as the recent "Call to Arts" in Northridge, CA). I get the following as subscriptions myself: 1. Recording Magazine (BTW, the latest issue is full of tips for recording the singer/songwriter) 2. EQ Mag 3. Electronic Musician 4. Keyboard 5. Audio/Media Besides that monthly reading, I get frequent issues of the following: 1. Sound on Sound 2. Computer Music 3. Performing Songwriter 4. American Songwriter 5. Future Music 6. Music Connection (and add in the free Roland, Korg, and Yamaha product brochures/magazines) No wonder I have a whole bookcase full of these things after only a couple of years! So which mags to you guys/gals subscribe to? ------------------ Larry www.audibleresponse.com [This message has been edited by Lwilliam (edited 05-04-2003).]

I tend to read Billboard, Rolling Stone, and Recording mostly.

I currently have only a subscription to "Rolling Stone" that's about to run out, and I just started a new subscription to "Spin". I used to have a subscription to "Guitar For The Practicing Musician", I loved that magazine. But it eventually turned into "Guitar One" and lost my interest. I subscribed to that mag for like 10 years. I need to get another guitar-mag subscription, though. Any suggestions?
-Shawn
P.S. I also enjoy "Illinois Entertainer" when I can remember to pick it up. (ti's a really cool monthly and it's FREE!)
