hi all,
a friend emailed me asking if i'd put the word out. here's the info.
they need a kick-ass guitar player for Hedwig's back-up band. The whole show is done like a club concert. They've had 3 guitarists back out and the show opens in three weeks, so it's kind of a rush. Starting next Monday we're going to be rehearsing almost every night until the show opens June 24, then the show runs Fri-Sun for six weeks. If you think you might know someone who'd be into a fun, non-paying gig please give me a call. The music, if you haven't seen the show, is a mix of Ziggy Stardust era Bowie style glam rock and Iggy Pop type metal rock. There's only about ten songs and all the music is notated. A good guitarist should have no problem with the tunes. The theater is in Fullerton. Contact Scott Keister Scott.Keister@phs.com
