{Been On-a-Roll this week...Somebody who Just Had a Birthday inspired This Little Spoof..}

Nikki wrote a Little Suicide Song
Fulla ANGST..& a Little Tear-Jerkin'
Aimed it at KIDS, I Know that She Did
& Baby..Did It Start WORKIN'!

A Little Death-Metal, Fulla-The-Devil
Blood..Oozin' from Every Line
& When She got Done..Havin' Her Fun
The KIDS Picked UP on it, Ever So-Fine!

(CHORUS)
It Was THE SUICIDE SONG That Went Dreadfully-WRONG
'Cuz The KIDS..Decided TO LIVE!
They put Their Troubles AWAY, Endured ANOTHER DAY
& Realized..(HEY) "They're Just KIDS!"
Not a WRIST Got SLASHED, No More HIGH-BRIDGE Splashes, No More CARS Goin' Offa The CLIFFS..
Yeah, Her SUICIDE SONG Went Dreadfully-WRONG
'Cuz The KIDS..Kinda GOT.."The DRIFT!"

Her VERSE ONE was a LONELY One
Where it Told about LOVE..Gone WRONG
HOW She Didn't THINK She Could EVER GO ON
Knowin' HE..Was The ONLY ONE!

Then She Talked about ETERNALLY SLEEPIN'
(With His MEMORY..BURNIN' BRIGHT)..
But the KIDS Saw THRU IT (& Nikki BLEW It)
They're IN-RECOVERY, Each FRIDAY NIGHT!

(REPEAT CHORUS) She Wrote...

(BRIDGE)
Now The PARENTS All THANK HER, (Especially HER BANKER)
'Cuz The SONG's Worth A Million-PLUS!
Before She WROTE That Song, Things Went DREADFULLY-WRONG
But NOW, the KIDS Have LEARNED-To- ADJUST!

"Thanks for your EDUCATIN' 'bout Media EXPLOITATION..
of A TEENAGER'S GLOOM & TEARS"--
Their Reaction was STRONG, They Got a LAUGH from Your Song
& I'll BET They HANG AROUND..For YEARS!"

(REPEAT CHORUS)

(TAG)
It was THE SUICIDE SONG That Went Dreadfuly WRONG..
'Cuz The KIDS all Decided TO LIVE!

Hey Stan,

This is an original approach to the subject of teenage suicide...

So when do we get to here some of these songs? I know you've got music for some of them, and didn't you put together a CD or something?

Make that transistion from Web TV and let the world hear some of this stuff. I bet some of it is funny as hell.

HIDee Curtis!

Well, after I "Wrapped" the Last CD, I came back from "PINEYFEST" all Fulla Expectations...then promptly got REAL Sick..Then Closed a Deal on a New House, had to Move to it in a REAL Flurry...Then had to LANDSCAPE the Joint...Clock Biz got REAL Slow, Blew ALL The "Reserves", went Near-Broke. Then, as Biz Improved a bit, JUNIOR had to get Straighted-Out, & is now Eatin' up TONS of my TIME as I teach him The Clock Biz, so He'll be Gainfully-Employed, AND Free Me UP a Bit as I segue Back Into My Musical Pursuits.

The "New" CD's Languishin' at CDBaby.com/TampaStan/4...awaitin' a Few Bucks to get a thorough Review from a Nashville Great. Jimmy Buffett likes it, & I'm hopin' to Better Make His Acquaintence as my New Guitar Guy, John Larson, & I, get More Time to Collaborate Together. (John spent Many-a-year as an Early Buffett Roadie...)

I should get a few Bucks Ahead by end of Christmas & do Yet Another CD with Ol' Pal, WMNF DJ Bill Dudley. (I'm supposed to call his Station last 2 weeks...no time yet..this COULD be the Much-Anticipated "Local Airplay" we all dreams about So Much...heh!)

If Not, Heck, I got a LOTTA Clocks to Fix & Sell to Pay all the Bills, heh! (DID just part with $190 last night to get 12 entries in the Great American Song Contest..so I'm not TOTALLY sittin' here on my Butt, JUST "crankin' out Lyrics"...) Beat the Deadline by 15 Minutes..heh...& that's the way my Whole Life seems to be a-Goin'!

But I'll confess, before I Shaddup-already, I got as much Enjoyment FINALLY Fixin' all the Leaks in an Antique Aquarium I been starin' at to-get-aroound-to (For a Decade) & droppin' Gravel & a Goldfish IN yesterday..& watchin' the Critter swim around in his New Digs..as if I'd gotten a Grammy!

WILL soon Update My Website...but ya can hear MOST of my CDs at
<www.TampaStan.com> & the "New One" is at <www.CDBaby.com/TampaStan/4>

Back to a Noisy Aquarium Pump!

Thanks for the Kind Visit & Words, Amigo!
Glad to See ya Back Here a-Postin'!

Catchy. Fresh. Topical. I like how you use parody to spark discussion. This a song that a person listens to once cause its fun, and twice to find its truth.

HIDee Kaleo..(oo--LIKE the SOUND of Your Handle...kinda Hawaiian!)

Thanks very much for Your Kind Words, Amigo...I'd like Nothin' Better than to keep a few Suicides from Happenin', and I found out Long Ago that if ya Laugh at Life's Problems, they allus LOOK Smaller..then GET So.

I pity the PRESSURE Kids are Under these days--GET Good Grades, GET into a Good School (or Else), so you can GET that Good-Payin' JOB. SOME of that, us Older Folks Know, is Total RUBBISH.

Went with La Femme last nite to see "SCHOOL OF ROCK" at the Flicks---GREAT Casting, FUN Plotline, O.K. Musically, but Bottom Line was there IS an "Alternative Culture" & a Way OUT of the Academic Rat-Race for those who Are About to Rock. (DID have some Nice Digs at "The Man" who's sorty RUINED the Game with "Corporate Rock"..I'll add..)

But it ended, Overall, with some HOPE for
Those who Wanna Break a Few Molds & have an Alternative Career...heh! (Some GREAT Acting/Playin' by the Kid Actors, I gotta Add!) "Recommended Viewing" for Demandin' Parents, as well-- ;-)>

Thanks Again for your Kind Words & Visit

HIYa Sweetie!

Jus' havin' some Daily Fun..heh!

I been readin' Sheila Davis "The Craft of Lyric Writin'" a bit each day (Since I retain so Little..& Slowly..these days) and I HIGHLY Recommend this Book to ANYONE who wants to write Songs.

It'll save ya AGES of "Near-Misses".

Can't wait to Shake her Hand someday!

Recommend John Brahaney's book on "The Business of Music", too..& The Luboff's Songwritin' Books are also on my "Recommended" List.

(I'm still too busy tryin' to write "The Hit" to contemplatin' Teachin' Songwritin'...but Maybe Someday, eh?)

Thanks for your Kind Visit & Kind Words,
Favorite New Yorker!

Happy Weekend, Brother Bob!

This'll prolly be one of my VERY Few songs on this Subject! (My Paternal Grandfather Did Himself, after fallin' in his Orchard & paralyzin' himself, waist-down..& not "Accepting" his Invalid Role. Left my Grandma to take care of all 5 Kids. Never Remarried..dunno HOW she ever managed!)

My Uncle David, who was 15 when he found Grampa Hangin', ended up the Family's First Alcohlic. & Divorcee, too.

Suicides have a horrendous "Ripple Effect" on the Whole Family..in Reality.

But, anyways, I think Kids CAN Relate to a Humorous Piece on The Subject..after all, they've ONLY Thought "Seriously" about this issue..& a New Angle on it's maybe the ONLY Way to get thru to some?

Does manage to get Past The "Preachy" Filter...heh..& you know how I try to avoid them "Downer Songs"...!

FINE Hook & Angle to that "Train Song", Amigo!

Thanks for the Kind Sunday Visit!

Stan:

Suicides suck... Your lyric is great and most people, fortunately, follow your advice.

I remember years ago chomping on sandwiches with a patent examiner friend of mine in Crystal City, Virginia, when we looked out the window toward National - now Reagan - airport. The RF&P railroad tracks between us and the airport caught our attention, however.

There was a guy in a suit standing in the middle of one of the tracks, but when the high-speed Amtrack passenger train went by, he wasn't standing long. Aside from him kissing off a life for some reason that defies all logic, it sure ruined our lunch.

Then there was the guy who jumped of the roof of National Center at Crystal City and landed on a grate, totally straining himself and grossing out who knows how many others in the process.

Like I said, suicide sucks!

HIDee Knute.

Real Sorry to hear of your Experiences.

When I was a Jr. in High School, I attended a Summer Journalism Clinic at Ohio State University. Got to know the Staff pretty Well that Summer...& was viewing a Student Photo Exhibit there & overheard a Visitor criticizing a Nude Study a Student had Shot, which was In The Exhibit.

The Curator took me Behind the Scenes after the Disgruntled Visitor had left the area..& wryly commented "I thought THIS One should've made The Exhibit TOO, but it REALLY would have Upset the Visitors."

It was a Well-Composed about 15X20 Inch Black & White photo of a Girl Student who'd committed Suicide by lying on a Railroad Track. A Misty-Morning shot, her torso was inside the Tracks, very Peaceful Expression on her face, & the Rising Sun gleamed too-perfectly along the Right-side Rail which separated her Torso from the rest of her body on the other side of the Rail. The Rails disappeared into the Mist, right down the Middle of the Photo.

Guess it's been 40 years now since that Photo's been permanently-etched into my Consciousness. & Every other viewer, Since, I am sure. (The Back Story was her Boyfriend had Left Her...)

Had an Oriental Guy who was failin' in Chemistry whip up some Cyanide, too, while I was at College. (He couldn't face his Parents with The News, so he took "The Honorable Way out"...)

Every Suicide I hear of (With the Exception of Elderly Folks in "Terminal Situations") I get this Overpowering Sadness that Noone was THERE to Help 'em think Thru it. "What a Waste"--that's the most Universal Thought among The Survivors.

Sorry you had to watch those 2 Unfortunate Folks take the Easy Way Out.
Not everybody CAN handle Depression..but if they TALK to Someone FIRST, hopefully they get a Second Chance at Figuring Life's Worth Living.

Thanks for Sharin', Amigo..got a few Skeletons outta the Closet here, too!

knute i find that rude
when all you can say is
suicides are sick and they
grossed out some people
and ruined your lunch
get that stick out of your
ass please think of why
they did it they might have
had nothing left to live for i have
tried it before so i find that
offensive there are many reasons
i mean have some amount respect
for the dead no matter how they
died - suicide, murder, accident,
or sickness. frankly i think its
rude what people do to the dead
and say about them like a rotten.com
some people can just be sick and rude.

Nikkigal:

Sorry but your rude logic fails dismally. You might want to pull the stick out of your brain - the one that first entered your ass - and realize that people who subject innocent people to their personal death wish are the rude ones. If you or any of your friends want to end your lives, do it in the privacy of your own space and let the coroner deal with the mess you make. He gets paid to deal with messes.

As you mature, you will learn that there is a big difference between having respect for the dead, and considering suicide by public spectacle acceptacle behavior. The people who do it are sick, depressed or whatever and those who witness the act are left depressed in the aftermath.

You were probably the one who held the memorial service for the suicidal wackos that destroyed the world trade centers killing thousands and grossing out thousands of others, right!!!!!! Sorry I missed the service... How rude of me...

Or try suicide by cop. At least he gets a free vacation while he is on administrative leave for his trouble. That works...

Have you considered an appearance on Dr, Phil, or maybe the Jerry Springer Show? You could actually get paid for you childish ramblings. Frankly, you at least are in need of a major attitude adjustment coming from some responsible source. Teen counselling is usually available at no charge. You might want to check into it and then check in.

Knute,

Read your first post.

It did look a little self centered. Ruined your lunch.

Not a thought of why or sorrow for the victims, and yes people who take the easy way out are “victims”.

The little lady does not deserve being attacked for 9-11.

Or for what she may or may not believe on the subject of suicide.

A little counselling may also be in order for you. Grow up

Bill

A guy walking in front of a train ruined at least two people's lunch. That's a fact. Nikkigal has a strange view of suicide. That's a fact. And you showing up with your typical unwarranted "smart ass" insults. That's a fact.

Knute,

Your not going to change Nikkigal’s strange view of suicide the way you are going.
That's a fact.

And I’ve got to go to work [Linked Image] That's a fact.

Have a good day [Linked Image]

Bill:

In keeping within the theme of this thread, I related two specific examples of people chosing to end their lives and making a public spectacle of it. Both examples were gross by any standard. That is a fact. Stan wrote a fine lyric, as usual, about a suicide song that went dreadfully wrong. I concurred.

For that, I get some 15 year old obsessed with suicide lashing out at me. Hey, she's 15, and maybe in time she will see things differently, particularly since suicide is illegal, immoral and hurtful to the survivors and those who witness it.

Frankly, I wasn't going anywhere with this until the two of you showed up. She's a kid, and though her responses to my examples of public suicide were uncalled for, she is a kid.

As for you Bill, your comments came with a different agenda. Sorry I ever pointed out a major nit and asked questions about one of your lyrics - one that you did eventually correct - to become the target of your retorts. That's a fact...

You have a nice day, as well. Still, other than being members of JPfolks, you and I have little, if anything, in common, and your derogatory comments about me have only verified that in your recent posts. I usually just forget and move on. You're an exception, however. Wish it weren't that way, but you've made certain that it is.

Sorry for the diversion Stan, but I didn't enter this thread to be insulted by a kid who has suicidal tendencies or by an adult LostNTexas.

You're the one with the attitude, girl. I thought I had moved on long before you ever arrived. You, however, felt the need to insult me for my description of two suicides that were gross. They always will linger in my mind as being gross, regardless of how many times you use the F*** word to make your point, whatever it is.

Geeeeeeeez folks,
Lighten up!
I would venture to say that you've misinterpreted Knute's statement that the suicides "ruined his lunch"
There's so much more to it than just "ruined lunch"
My own experience is gonna come off lame by comparison, but it's the only one I can think of at the moment.
I had just taken a big ol bite of what would have been a great burger when my husband told me he was getting laid off. Trust me, it had nothing to do with "this don't taste good anymore" It's just plain hard to eat when your stomach feels like a roller derby rink. and if I'd known what tyhe next 10 years would have brought, I probably would have tossed a few cookies too.
I can only assume that watching a suicide would give one those feelings only greatly magnified.
Public suicide is NOT a private personal issue. It ripples all over. To suggest that no one else is affected is just as rude.

Sorry Stan,
I don't usually jump into a fight. but it struck a nerve.
Your lyric is very good. the song could make a great video.

haha i hope someone close to you kills themselves maybe that will be enough to kick you in the ass and knock some damn sense into you and change how you feel about it i mean things happen because they're meant to its how the world works apparently the ppl who do die from a suicide were meant to go that way sometimes for the better as well as for the not so good but why dwell on it

You just defined the philosophy of fatalism fairly well for a 15 year old. You'll learn the falacies of that philosophy when you get to school. Hopefully, it won't be too late by then turn around your current "que sera" attitude.

At 60, I've seen, heard about, and been affected by more suicides than I care to remember, and more than you'll ever glorify. The two I mentioned were simply by way of example.

I know how you feel about suicide and you saw what I think about it. Your opinion and my opinion... no problem with that until you take exception to mine with insults. Only point here really is that you still don't get it...

Nikki: I would hope Brian has time in his busy schedule to read some of your diatribe and mindless vulgarities and I'll leave it up to him to deal with you accordingly, but in the mean time, you are the one doing the judging here, and your perspective is quite narrow, at best. You've misjudged enough for one day...

Stan... Please never write another parody on one of Nikkigal's lyrics... Look what happened...

I hope this can end sometime soon... It's as though someboby intentionally set up a debate between a 60 year old seasoned attorney and a 15 year old kid... Not my idea of an even match by any standard, but I came in here to comment to Stan, NOT YOU, and you took it from there for reasons that have never been made clear, other than for you to have an opportunity to practice using your four letter word vocabulary and refining your insult skills.

I have time on my hands now because I love it that way and I earned it. Now it's your turn, hopefully.

Stan, hopefully I can get back to your lyric now! I think this is really a great lyric in the fact in its' way of addressing an "illness of the mind"! I've often wondered if someone had of said something to my nephew minutes before he took his fatal step...if maybe he'd done things differently! My hope is that since music is such a part of the youthful lives that there would be more and more of this type of lyric out there! Who knows when and where it might just be the "unseen" word that breaks the fatal line of thought in a deeply disturbed person's heart and mind...
At the same time, I would like to just say my opinion about suicides is strictly from a professional viewpoint and that there are so many reasons the brain gets completely off normalcy because of "chemical imbalances".....
just like this 21 y/o nephew of mine....he'd been through a seige of drug rehab and supposedly it was successful for he'd gotten himself a decent paying job and had been making plans with the woman who'd had his baby to start making a decent life for them as a family....this was all discussed by him and other family members on Sat.evening at his birthday party...then suddenly on Sun.(his 21st b-day) his mother comes home from being off three weeks with a trucker.leaving her son alone with a convicted drug felon whom he was afraid of....and immediately what does this wayward mother see when she steps out of the vehicle....NOT anything but her only child hanging from a small peach tree about 10 feet from her front door...this would have been about 10 p.m. Time of death was supposedly about dark thirty which would have been 6 p.m. Course with the ex-felon around, murder was the first suspicion...there was NO suicide note....but found out later that the woman who had his baby had come by midafternoon and threw legal papers at him forbidding his rights to visitation of his baby! From the coroner's report, it was apparent that someone had slipped the boy a hard drug back a few years ago and he'd been having "flashbacks"...no one would admit this until "murder" got to being almost processed! The coroner was able to verify the "hard core drug use" by the brain's appearances....this suicide was much like the Art Linkletter's son about 40 some yrs. ago....this son had had some LSD and had been clean for a couple of years, but his apartment mate told of the many "flashbacks" this young man had suffered and how many times he himself had kept him from committing suicide!....So to make a long story shorter....I just hope that more lyrics of this value can soon be heard more often esp. on the radio stations the younger set pay tribute to! Thanks, Stan, for addressing a very troubling and painful thing.....not only for the witnessed, and next-of-kin; but mainly for the "sorely" tried victim! Best of best wishes.....

Wow..Gone one day at Webster, & Yowie!

Well, I'm never afraid to tackle Controversial Subject Matter. I again side with Knute...Folks who wanna Leave this Planet SO Strongly should NOT do it in front of People who LIKE IT HERE.

Conversely, I sorta See Nikki's Point...
People should CARE about Other People enough so Suicides DON'T Happen.

This isn't always POSSIBLE if Folks AREN'T Communicating..

I wrote this Piece NOT to make Fun of you, Nikki, but TO get some Communicating a-goin'.

It saddens me to hear you've "Tried Suicide"...it's LOTS more Lethal than Most Drugs out there. Hopefully, you're gettin' Happier as you're gettin' Older, tho if not, Write Some MORE Songs (they're WAY Better Therapy) rather than Lashin' Out at Whatever/Whomever Bugs Ya.

You have Talent to Develop..and LIVE For.
(A Mature Person realizes that Suicide is
NOT an Option when Love Doesn't Go Right.
WHY?
'Cuz you gotta LIVE to find Someone BETTER than That Last "LOSER" who Made Ya Feel Miserable.)

Sounded like you were Along This Route, last Optimistic Song you wrote. CONGRATS, Again!

Someone once said "Suicide is ANGER Directed INWARDS"... It's OK to have a Temper, but pilin' up Swears kinda says "Low-Melting Point" and "A Bit Immature"...(Trust Me, you want LOTS of "Older Friends" in Da Music Biz!)

Well, I gotta Shaddup now & get some Sleep--but hope you'll all Patch Things Up Somehow.

Best Wishes, Big Hugs,
Stan

Ya know suicide by train used to be very popular in Japan until they changed the laws and now hold surviving and future family members of the suicide participant liable for time lost for every passenger on the train and every passenger who had purchased tickets at connecting station further down the line.

Once the kids realized they could put their family in debt for three generations, the death by train rate dropped sharply.

Of course, that is a society where the youth have more respect for their elders and family.

I really should know better than to get involved here, but as a "former teenager", I know how you feel Nikki. It's been years since I've been that kid, but the thought did cross my mind and my sister actually overdosed, but survived, Thank Someone. I've seen mothers and fathers incredibly devastated by the "permanent solution to a temporary problem"... and I pray I am parent enough to keep my kids alive.

Bu-ut... I also see Knute being treated poorly. From his first post, I can't for the life of me understand what instigated the initial attack. All I can gather is that it struck an emotional chord inside Nikki, a chord that's deep inside us all in places we don't like to talk about. The walls come up and the defenses work overtime. All I saw Knute saying (not to put words in his mouth) was that public suicide is an unnecessary hurt placed upon unwitting and undeserving participants of the human race.

Not that anyone asked, but I think suicide sucks, I have seen firsthand, very very firsthand how devastating it is to those left behind. I can understand the hopelessness one can feel, but it is never an answer. For every bad situation, there is one worse somewhere else... the hard part is not killing yourself, it's rising above it.

For those who have attempted suicide before, I am sad for you, I wish I could hold you... and make it better. Bottom line is I don't want anyone to do it, ever, for whatever reason, don't don't don't do it...

How do I say this without sounding harsh, those that know me know that I love all people... but if suicide becomes someone's answer, I wish they wouldn't make it undeserving innocent bystander's business...

At this point I don't even know if I addressed the point...

Anyway, I read the lyric, {{{STAN}}} and I believe this type of song could be used as material for speakers who tour Middle School and High School campuses.. they need positive messages. I applaud you for writing it.

{{{BIG HUGS TO ALL}}}

G'mornin' Harriet!

Sorry I neglected you Last Night!

You are SO Right...in fact, NO Suicide is ever REALLY "A private personal issue".

Schools USED to try to IGNORE a Classmate's Suicide...only to have 2-or-3 "Copycats" over the next few months. A Suicide is like a Domino-Effect--It pushes OTHER So-Inclined Folks off into the SAME Abyss....including SOME who probably Never Would've until The Additional GRIEf in the Atmosphere was ALL It Took.

I think Knute's (Alas, NOT-Too-Diplomatic) urging for Nikki to "seek (I don't think it HAS to be) Professional HELP" was NOT a Bad Suggestion, ESPECIALLY If "Her Dad's been Abusive."

NO Kid should have to shoulder THAT Burden ALONE..Or any OTHER "Major Life Crisis" either! Hopefully SOME Adult rates "Trustworthy" to go to Talk-To-'Em.
(The Help IS There....Just ASK, Kids!!!)

Thanks Again, Harriet! Glad Things-Been-Lookin' UP for You & Yours, lately!

I hope you will forgive me for not having my diplomatic papers in order. I grew up with Joe Friday saying over and over again, "Just the facts ma'am, just the facts." Law school and many years arguing "the facts" before the court only reinforced what I learned from Joe.

Hi Sharon!

Seems this Song's REALLY Livin' Up to its Title..but at Least Folks ARE Talkin' about The Issue, as-Hoped-For.

I agree witcha, there needs to be a LOT More Songs about "Choosin' LIFE"...{Alas, the "Catchy Slogan's" already been appropriated by the Anti-Abortion Crowd, eh?}

Your 21-yr-old Nephew is a Classic Example of how Nearly-Impossible it IS to Cope with this Planet without a Support Group (& without Near-Sobriety at almost ALL Times...)

I think the Overall Bottom Line is this:
These Young People Die NOT to teach themselves a Lesson, but to teach US One:
"If Only You'd Cared WHEN I Needed It."

Well, Personally, I DO. Though NOT so much I can spend Every WAKING MINUTE Solving Their Problems. (Like most Adults, I gots a Few of My OWN t'deal with Daily, too!)

But if there's ONE Thing I've learned after All These Many Years bein' rejected as a Songwriter..heh..it's a Few Properly-Timed Words of HELP and ENCOURAGEMENT go a Long-Long Way!

I still gotta (Someday-Soon) write a Song about that Calif. Policeman who let his House burn to the ground, 'cuz HE felt Saving the Life of a potential Bridge "Jumper" was More Important.

Thanks for your Kind Words..& your Story here hopefully gave Nikki a bit more insight how sad Suicide DOES Leave Us Adults..(& WHY we TRY to talk kids OUT of
"Takin' Drugs to get themselves 'Over-the-Hurt'")

Big Hugs, Kind Lady, & I share in Your Sorrow for that Lost Nephew, too.

Thanks Steggy!

I dunno if "Compromise" is the proper term...'think "UNDERSTANDING" is More Like it!

Nobody HAS to "agree" on ANYTHING here...
We just have to be Maybe a little more Respectful of each other's Feelings.

(JMO, Natch!)

AM TOTALLY With You on the "Good Times" Issue..You Betcha!

G'mornin' Dawg and what an INTERESTING Example of How BRILLIANT The Oriental Mind can be...to Solve what to MY Somewhat-Inferior WESTERN Mind seemed a Near-Impossible Problem!

The LOGIC of that Law is kinda Un-Scruitable..sorty.... (Hey, you could BANKRUPT your Ol' Man pretty QUICKLY if You were REALLY Pissed at the Guy..heh!)

But if the Law WORKS, Lordy Thank Heaven..It WORKS!

Your Last 2 Lines here are also more Truth-Laden than Many a Western Mind can Comprehend!

Thanks for Sharin', Amigo!

G'mornin' Brother Knute, & No Appologie (to Me) is Necessary.

You stated a Personal Experience and Your (Personal) Reaction to it. It's GREAT when we, as a Body of Writers, CAN Discuss Issues from Our Experience. That's partly what this Board is FOR.

I also think we ALL are Learning something about Each Other from this..and it's NOT really a Negative Experience..tho I'll admit it's Sometimes Painful...

Gotta Scoot...Think I missed Thankin' Tink...I'm still kinda worn out from my Monday!

BIG Guy-Hug, Joe Friday!
