I'm posting this here as an FYI for any interested parties in the Seattle area. I'm answering the call for a Seattle coordinator. I've sent an email to Jean this morning asking for details. (Have you also volunteered? Let me know, we'll work together.) I've been in touch with a handful of artists who performed the JPF Roadshow in Seattle back in late August, and there seems to be interest in having a monthly event. I figure it might as well be under the auspices of JPF. Questions? Answers? Objections? Speak up. Brian has mentioned that it's been difficult to maintain interest here in the area. I'm not sure why that is, given that we have a huge number of artists. Let's see what we can do to change that. I'll post some of the ideas we're tossing around after I hear from Jean. ------------------ Scott Andrew and the Walkingbirds DIY acoustic pop and strange country thing Hear it: http://www.scottandrew.com/main/music [This message has been edited by scottandrew (edited 12-17-2003).]

Season's Greetings Scott, Nice site. I love the weblog. Just calling to tell ya that I'm here. Please count me as one of the ten necessary for a JPF chapter. Happy Holidays, Bill

Just an FYI,
We posted the coordinator pics on the site in the chapter section. The other volunteer for Seattle was/is Chris Eric.. but he's been rather quiet and didn't come out when we were there this fall. Ask Jean for his contact info.

Hi Bill, got your email today. We'll chat.
Brian, Jean gave me Chris' email, and I dropped him a line. I'm hoping to meet with him in early January (after the holidays) to discuss ideas for the upcoming year. Details to come.
