My name is John Truelove, I am the singer/bassist for Coppersonic. We are a roots rock band based in New York.
We have scheduled a show in Boston at the Midway Cafe Sat June 25 and the the local band we like to play with are not able to share the bill with us. We are looking for a local band that is interested in playing the gig with us. Ideally, you would be in the same musical style (roots, bluesy, alt-country like Allman Bros, Tom Petty, BCrows) but we will consider any great professional group.
You would be playing with Coppersonic and another band from New York. You would play a full set.
We are looking for a band with a good local following. We and the other New York band have a decent draw for being out-of-towners and I want to be sure that Midway has a good crowd for a Saturday night.
Thanks very much and we look forward to hearing from you. Feel free to email me directly mrcopper@coppersonic.com.
