Hi Folks,
Our official date for Detroit has been CHANGED! We will now visit Detroit in August at the start of the Midwest Tour. The new date is tentatively scheduled for Friday, August 5th. We may also consider Saturday, August 6th. We are also making a local Coordinator change as Tom is stepping down as the Detroit Coordinator. We will let you the replacement as we move forward.

We will use this page to post all the pertinent information as it becomes available. The first thing we need is to find out how many of you would like to perform at this Showcase. Once we have a general idea of the interest and the types of acts performing, we can book the appropriate type/size venue and create a lineup.

If you'd like to sign up, please read the Roadtrip FAQ which will give you complete details on how the events work and how to sign up to participate.

If you have specific questions about THIS city and event, please post them here. If you have general questions on the Roadtrip, please post them on the FAQ page so that everyone may benefit from the answer.

We need at least 20 interested member/performers to book a showcase. We need at least 10 interested members to book a gathering/meeting/workshop and if we have less than 10 interested members in any city, we'll either meet for dinner with those interested or skip the city on this trip. So please sign up today!

Also, you are welcome to perform in any city at any event that happens, but please ONLY sign up if you are seriously planning to be there. Unannounced NO SHOWS can get you removed from any future showcase slots or opportunities, or placed last in the performance order.

Hi Everyone,

It is my intention to step back up as "interim" Chapter coordinator [if that's o.k. with you, Brian] I plan to actively seek out another co-coordinator who has the desire to kick this thing up a notch.

I'll keep you posted.

It is also my understanding that the August 5th Roadtrip has been rescheduled...is that right, Brian?

I can do August 5th or 6th although I might be going to the U.P. to play but if your coming, I'll be there! I would be interested in doing a showcase but a networking meeting would be okay, just not in a bar downtown like C.D. Baby did....I ended up helping the host sign up people, didn't make a usable contact and didn't even get a free soda as he promised.
