The November Arizona Songwriters Songpitch Saturday will be

at SHH Gallery in Downtown Phoenix,

(park on 6th street or the lot behind the gallery.)



2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, sign-in from 2:00 pm

admission: $10 members $15 non-members



featuring independent producer & publisher Les Scott.



Les is doing a major label project with BMG and is looking for:



Rock /Alternative, Alternative or Pop/Alternative



SONGS and ARTISTS!



looking for styles like:

CAKE

G-LOVE

COLDPLAY

U2

BARE NAKED LADIES

PINBACK (kinda like YES)

and other current stuff on the radio...



all songs with lyrics and a good chorus hook.

looking mostly for up tempo...needing 60% female to 40% male submissions



Will entertain both Artist and/or song submissions.



If you have a song you want heard, bring it on CD or Cassette, with a lyric sheet.

Our out of town members will be played first (tucson, prescott, etc).

The 2nd Tuesday Songs in Progress Workshop is held the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

Next one: DECEMBER 13th, Tuesday Night, 7 to 9 pm



The 2nd Tuesday, Songs in Progress Workshop is hosted by One Foot in the Grave’s Gavan Wieser. This workshop gets you some feedback from peers on your new or partially finished lyrics or songs. You can present your work on CD, cassette, or live. Bring a few lyric sheets. Very casual.

Held at 8607 N. 59th Avenue in Glendale, AZ.

Hey Jon,

I just joined up at this new site, www.demosinger.com. Some of the people on there (Jeff Carson, Perry Danos, Julie Burton, Matt Dame to name a few) are really busy demo singers here in Nashville. Jason Sever (my #1 co-writer) told me about it and it’s free, so that’s cool. I think ASA members could get a lot from just listening to the demo clips the singers have posted.
