written by Ulli and Peter of City Point.. There might ben a touch too much verb (room) on the snare at times...but, the mix is good... all comments welcome.... Hard.....it's at Soundclick......... here's the lyrics... Hard" Lyrics: Ulli Music: Peter Spiller ©2005 I keep telling myself You'd want this for me But ever since you've been gone I feel guilty when I'm happy I know life has to go on But it's sooner than I thought I'd find someone again I failed, even so I fought CHORUS Hard To hold on to you Hard To remember you Hard To get over you So hard To say I love you (To somebody new) I look in the mirror And ask if you like what you see I have to remind myself I can't talk to a memory The bracelet you gave me Gets compliments all the time I've thought twice before I put it on I swear I've tried... CHORUS REPEATS (©2005)

Yo Joro! Some great pop/rock elements. The vocals are cool, might turn em up a bit in the mix. The drums are for real this time, no Midi, right?! Good songwrite... the lyrics work well too! So this is an example of your recent band work? Well, alright then! Good going bro, Michael B. P.S. If you want to mail me the original tracks on a CD, I will try to produce a nice mix for you! Just let me know if you're interested. ------------------ The OUTLOOK may often appear bleak, but the UPLOOK is always bright! [This message has been edited by Michael Borges (edited 02-25-2005).]

Hi Michael, How goes man? Hope all is well with you dude.
Yeah...real live drums...quite a challenge to mic (8-mics) and track....even harder to mix. Thanks for the offer but, I am not done trying on this one. the drummer wants to re-record his part. Drums should be re-tracked by next week. I am gonna re-track one of the guits through my Mesa Boogie Nomad 55 too....this one was through a POD 2.0.
Thanks again man..be well dude.
Joseph, Thanks for checking it out man. be cool, Joe

Hey Joe, Rockin in my new computer chair to this one! Had to lossen the lever!
Simple, but that is what it should be for this style. Some rockers tend to write novels. This gives me enough to hang on to and do what I should be doing,,,,,,,,Rockin!
Congrats to another cool song in your string of them.
If I may critique, I would like to hear your guitar a little more grity, especially for the bars in between the vocals to "really" get into. For the vocals, if you guys can, try to pick up a tube mic, the one at Sam Ash that has a gold top. (Wish I could remember the make). Ron just got one, so I'll find out soon. It has warmth, power and it resonates like you never heard yet. Your singers would sound even beter. Records accoustic guitars and pianos great too! Just don't have anybody walk or do "anything" within 100 feet though! Very sensitive, but that's what gives the vocals a great lift and feel. (I'll get that name brand).
Anywho, great job Joe. Keep rockin!
Back from a long time off,
John
