LYRICS.... NO WAR
GOING DOWN THIS STREET AGAIN / I SEE ALL THE SAME, SAME OLD FACES / AND I HAVE SEEN THIS PLACE / AND I WILL NEVER FORGET / WHEN I HAVE SEEN MUCH MORE
(CHERISH THE LIFE / SHARE US SOME PEACE) / GIVE ME A KISS / (DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ON PHONEY THINGS/
THERE IS AN END TO ALL THESE THINGS) / GIVE AND FORGIVE / HOLD OUT YOUR HAND / (DONT THINK ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS / WEVE GOT TO STAND)
REMEMBERING THE TIMES GONE BY / I FEEL IM A CHILD / A CHILD AGAIN / AND I HAVE SEEN THIS PLACE / AND I WOULD NEVER REGRET / THAT I HAVE SEEN MUCH MORE
AS I WALK ON I SAW SOMEONE / HE REMIND ME OF / A MAN I KNEW / HE WAS IN THIS PLACE BEFORE / AND I WILL NEVER FORGET / FOR HE GAVE US MUCH MORE
I LOOK UP AND I SEE THE SKY / HUE OF BLUE AND WHITE / THERES A FEELING OF HOPE / AS THE WIND PASS BY / BRINGING TO US / A NEW LIFE / A NEW DAY
GOING DOWN THIS STREET AGAIN / I SEE ALL THE NEW / THEIR NEW FACES / AND I HAVE DREAMED THIS PLACE / AND I WOULD WANT TO STAY / I DON’T WANT NO MORE WAR

Hello, Michael.. I want to thank you for the kind words! I checked out your website and saw your an artist that writes Christian music. That is so great!! I'm a Christian and the song "No War" is really about God...the lyrics speaks for itself.. My album is not a quote "Christian album" but I know that the good of God is all in it. It just isn't a quote "Christian alum". I do have a purpose though and that is to encourage people so I would say the Album is for the purpose of doing Gods work as it is just a tool for me to reach people. Thanks again! You have the nicest style and prettiest voice I've heard in a long time. What a gift!!!!!! Merry Christmas and I hope to hear more of your posts soon.

Vienna, Awesome vocals... very creative songwriting and superb singing performance! While I was at it, I visited your web site and also listened to "Rosemarine" from "Twin Princes". That one is very beautiful, reminds me of some of the ballads Charlotte Church sings, such as Elysium. (I hope I spelled that correctly! LOL) Also, your production quality is extremely high. Do you ever sing any demos for other people's songwriting? Hope to hear more of your material soon! Michael Borges

MJM........I definitely agree, but my FAVORITE is Myself In The Corner. That one makes me want to get up and dance with my mop or something equally silly. Mop dancing is one of my favorite past-times when I'm all alone and no one is watching. You'd be amazed at how many square feet you can mop, dance, sing during a 3.5 min song-especially, if it's a good song.

Wow! I haven't been around here in quite a while so stumbling in for a quick visit and finding this little beauty was a pleasant surprise.
I have to admit that I find it a little disjointed in some respects - the stops between the verses and choruses are, in my opinion, overdone and awkward - but the overall haunting quality of both the performance and the song itself more than makes up for that.
The old marching drums in the verses are a nice touch. The vocals are not only very nicely performed but someone has also made an excellent job of recording and editing them. Same with the acoustic guitar.
Overall, very listenable! I enjoyed and look forward to hearing more from you.
Cheers
Simon

SimpleSimon funny you said that as I was planning to fill in that gap with something there but it never happened.. Maybe soon I will have a chance to fix that.what do you think could go there? Vocals strings or?? or cut 4 beats off? The rest of your words like Michael and Tricia are overwhelming..Thank you for your time!! Tricia Baker Hehehehe,, I know what to get you for Christmas.. a handsome Mop with a name and a good smile michael james moore What am I going to do? I think your going to run out of compliments.. I think that's ok .. But don't run out of encouragement ok?? you and Tricia are keeping me smiling..

What I feel you need are some musical "Bridging devices". I can hear a few ideas in my head but would struggle to explain them here. It could be a drum fill, a bass line, an added vocal phrase etc or a combination of any of these. If you're interested I might be able to have a mess around with a couple of ideas and send it back to you? Cheers Simon

Vienna-- You have a GREAT voice and, in my opinion, a very marketable style of singing! That kind of etherial style is not my cup of tea, I like something with a little more structure, but for people who like that kind of music, you have nailed it. I really enjoyed your singing, you get a lovely tone and lots of expression in your voice! --Jean http://www.soundclick.com/bands/6/jeanlmusic.htm
