I know this isn't working right for me, but if you'll bear with me and go over to my mp3 site and check out a new one, Johnny and I just got up. I'd appreciate it. It is a total rewrite from a song I wrote in 1997 as a tribute to the Statler Brothers. My first writing had some info that wasn't really within the right way regarding the Statlers, so I had to rewrite the lyrics for truth's sake and then the tune I had always had seemed to "churchy" to me, so I ask Johnny to help me lift it up into an inspiring country sound. We finally came to this conclusion(my coping url didn't work) so I gotta do it this way as I'm in a hurry to get gone to Iowa City for head surgery. Thanks in advance www.mp3.com/sharon_irene_wells "Four Part Harmony"

Sharon,
Doing it this way is fine. You indicated a specific song and took the time to actually discuss what you were looking for. That is the spirit of what we are trying to do.
Thanks,
Brian

Sharon,
I didn't have to time to listen to Four Part Harmony but I did check out Your Memory Won't Let Me Go and that is a bonafide hit. Push it tremendously - I hear Faith or Trisha singing it now. The demo singer has an awesome voice also - very well done. Awesome writing and beautiful song - definite radio hit in my eyes. I'll try to check out the other song although my capability isn't great - the songs skip for some reason and I have to keep pausing it but I'll try again later when I have more time.
Whatever you do - push the memory song all the way. Hit material.
Debbie

Thanks, Brian, for your patience. I'm still learning about computers as well as lyrical and song making businesses. Thank you, Debra, for the kudos on Memory. It is a very "personal" song and I've been selective as to what it gets to. It's won in one contest already, and is in the finals of several other contests. So maybe it'll get picked up that way. And it also is in the hands of two publishers, one is looking to put it in a specific movie at the moment. Anyway thanks for the compliments.
