Don't forget, March 5th (& every 1st Sunday) it's the debut of the Honkytonk Hootenanny at CBs Gallery (313 Bowery, NYC, 10003, 212-677-0455). Featuring yours truly, Greg Phoenix (“Americana Gothic”), Seth Kess (“old-school country & bluegrass”), your host Slim Polski, and a grab-bag of gin-joint country, bluegrass, rockabilly, and all things Americana from 5-9 pm. Our features take the stage for the "Freeform Hootenanny" at 7pm, playing round-robin in a song circle with one “wildcard” player picked from the open mic. The stage will be set for impromptu leads, harmonies, and twang-core 'billy madness. The Hootenanny finishes up with the "Hillbilly Improv" - all the features join in for a set that's sure to break something. Tonight's event will be filmed as part of Gary Winters' documentary portrait of the music and the musicians here in New York.

For you pickers and guests out there, the details of the night and format can be found here
