Hi, Last night I played in the local showdown in Commerce, Ga. I didn't make the cut but had a very positive experience. I noticed that I had to focus so much on my guitar playing that I lost some of the effect of my original song than if I had a backing track and sang. I also noticed that most of the others did mostly covers with backing tracks. I'm going to try some other locals in ga or sc and I wanted to get some input on which option would be best for this type of competition? My strongest talent is my singing. Thank you James

"If one man can do it, any man can do it. It is true. But the real question is, if one man did it, are you willing to do what it takes to do it as well?" –Brian Austin Whitney
