Hi Brian, thanks for signing me up as a performer in Toronto. I'd like to know though how long each performer has, and what I should need to bring, (lyric sheets, amp., bio info. etc)
I'm really looking forward to the show!

Sure , OK "snowcases" ... I know ! However, I'm going to be away for a while prior to the Toronto showcase for which Brian has graciously signed me up as a performer, and I'm still not sure of exactly what is expected of the performers as far as number of songs or time limit, gear etc. Could someone please fill me in ?

Hey Marc,
I just thought I'd see what info I could provide, not much, probably. I performed at the showcase at the Corner Tavern in New Brunswick, NJ a couple weeks ago. We had about 15 performers scheduled and everyone got to do two songs and some did some more after everyone else had performed. The corner Tavern holds regular open mikes so it had a place o plug guitars into and Brian has an awesome keyboard that was donated by Korg for the roadtrips if you need one to play. Brian sent out a lineup, but there were no hard times other than the start time. We just all proceeded in order from there. It was really relaxed. It was a great environment for performing, especially if you haven't performed that much, like me. Everyone was great and wanted to see you do well. It was a blast! I really enjoyed meeting Brian and other JPFers that I knew only from the board. Good luck to you and break a leg!
