The Drop Band Return to New York City in Support of Their Critically Acclaimed CD release, There’s Only Sound

(New York, NY) New York City’s favorite happy hippies return home to The C-Note (157 Ave. C) on Friday, July 18, 2003 at 10:00pm for a featured performance in support of their critically acclaimed CD, There’s Only Sound sponsored by Indie Music Explosion (www.indiemusicexplosion.com). There will be a $5.00 cover charge.

The band, led by guitarist Paul Mascott, features vocalist Christine Mascott, vocalist and harmonica player Hank Wagner , drummer Ed Arnold, guitarist Sammy Clementine, and bassist Jeff Wright and will present a set of their eclectic original song-oriented psychedelic rock. “The music just stays with you for days”, says Score! Music Magazine.

The Drop Band’s fourth CD release There’s Only Sound (Syberdelix Records) has received airplay in the United States, and internationally in Canada, Spain, Germany, South Africa, and Australia. The album has been nominated for ‘CD of The Year’ by Kweevak.com, has been selected as a Radio Crystal Blue ‘GEM’ (www.radiocrystalblue.com), and was given 3 out of 4 stars from Soundcheck magazine whose editor Debbie Catalano praised the eclectic sound of the band in a recent review saying “whether in a gentle sweeping manner or in all out rock and roll, they hypnotized me in”.
