Hi everyone, I just want to thank everyone for the great response for songs. I still am looking. I am looking for a paticular thing for the last two that I need. I can't really explain what it is, but I will know when I hear it. I want something kinda edgy with a bluesy kinda sound. Also, still looking for that power ballad. I am still going thru everything that has been sent. I like to really listen and listen until I am sure..thanks again Mikki

mikki, I have a song to send you but don't see your email here.
Please go to broadjam.com and search under the song title "Cool Water." You'll find an mp3 by me that is a haunting, bluesy country song for female vocalist.

Dear Mikki: As far as the bluesy thing is concerned, check out "You Won't Let Me Walk Away" on my Soundclick page. I have to admit, I have nothing in the power ballad department that would be suitable. You win some..... ------------------ Terry Don't worry too much about life. Hi Everyone, I first wanted to thank everyone who submitted songs to me. After careful consideration and much prayer, I have decieded to change my genre to Christian Rock/Blues/R&B..God has been directing me this way for a while, but I refused to listen. I know that I have to listen now. I hope that you all understand and can help me get off to a brand new start. I will understand if you don't, but I have to start from scratch. This was a major decision and I am happy to say that my management is adjusting and ready to go full sails ahead..if you have anything you want to submit, I will truley appreciate it. Thanks again for you patience with me, but i know this is where I was meant to be..thanks again, Mikki

Mikki, It's hard making a life altering decision like that, and I applaud you for it. I appreciate you taking the time to listen to the country submissions I offered and would like to invite you to go to the link below and listen to the song DAYS OF THUNDER. If I can be of any further help just let me know. Best, Marvin http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pageartist.cfm?bandID=383050

Try my latest. If I Could Never Sing Again. The current sing is leaning to jazz, but I have done it as a power ballad also and it works fine. Graham ------------------ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/2/grahamhenderson_music.htm

Mikki, I don't know if you are still looking, but I have a song that I thought I would love Martina McBride to sing...Titled "Can You Hear Me" - it is has a bit of an edgy sound and is about incest...abuse - Martina is so good with songs like that - her music really stands up for the underdogs. Anyway, I could send you a copy to listen to, if you are still looking. I am a christian music writer, but I feel this song could be used in secular as well...easily. I feel there are alot of people that have suffered with this. Anyhoo...let me know if you would like to hear it!! ------------------ A Family Home Business making quality Handcrafted Bath, Body, & Home Fragrance items - Creamy Lotions, Rich Body Butters, Conditioning Soap, Soy Candles, & Much more!! Hi Micki,
What planet are you from ? because four octave vocal range is a very rare gift.
Anyhow could you tell me what is your lowest note that you can sing comfortably, and at what point do you go into Falsetto, (break) and from there what is the highest note you can sing in falsetto.
Also who do you sing like ,the singers you mention, have not got the range you claim, to have, if people can hear a voice sample they may be able to help you find material.
Most of us write songs for vocalist who sing one octave plus three full tones.

Oh dont send anything by E Mail mp3. If you are interested send some vocal samples to the Post address, and we will see what we have suitable. P.J.Xanadu Music Publishing Le Moulin de Parfouru 14240 LIVRY NORMANDY FRANCE

Mikki, you could do wonders with a 4-octave voice range! Gospel music will be blessed to have you. I did post above (when you were looking for something else). I do have two songs in the catalog that would qualify as Christian music--"Bungee Jumpin' Jesus" and "Drag Them Suckers In." (Both do have serious messages, but are presented with tongue firmly in cheek where I can keep track of it.) URL is below. Thanks in advance for your interest and consideration. Y'know, I was going to mention that. And Mikki's not alone. (Well, maybe she is--but she's got company.) Seems like most of these "I want original songs" threads start with an appeal by a Mikkilike, and get a whole bunch of responses from hungry songwriters--and the Mikkilike is never heard from again. Presumably he or she found what they were looking for--but it would be nice if they'd check back and say so. Joe www.soundclick.com/bands/7/joewrabek_music.htm
