Yes. I've had dealings with them. I've entered my lyrics and have received contract offers for most. I don't know how well connected they are in Nashville, but they are there. If you win one of their contests, you basically get their best demo package. If they like your lyrics they offer you a choice of two contracts. One is a publishing contract(if you've written words and music) where you retain ownership of the song, but they receive 25% of the publishing if they get a recording through their contacts. You may opt out of this with a written notice. The second contract allows them to write the music, do the demo, and have 50% of the publishing. You retain 50% of the writers share along with 50% of the publishing. With both options, they get to produce the demo - which you pay for. You choose the demo package. The demos are reasonably priced. So if your one who employs demo companies to produce your songs it's a fair deal. All said, I think they're a demo company who is using the contest to get good writers to use their services and also pick up some publishing money if they can.
