I'm looking for free standard legal agreements, preferrably online, for cowriters (lyrics, music, arranging), instrumentalists, singers, producers, publishing contracts, etc. Any good leads? Thanks. ------------------ ==================== **SpinPal** Billboard song decency ratings and special offers http://www.spinpal.com **Tunes by Gentry** Original Christian and classical music http://www.gentrytunes.com

Type SCALA into your browser and it will bring up their site which has a section in it called forms or documents or something. The standard form it in there and is downloadable. Graham ------------------ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/2/grahamhendersonmusic.htm

Graham, Are you referring to http://www.scala.org.au ? I wasn't able to find anything of that nature on the site. If I'm missing it or I'm on the wrong website, I'd appreciate it if you'd post the direct link to the correct page. Thanks for your help. Also, a question to anyone: Would it make a difference for people who are in other countries? I'm in the US. ------------------ ==================== **SpinPal** Billboard song decency ratings and special offers http://www.spinpal.com **Tunes by Gentry** Original Christian and classical music http://www.gentrytunes.com

I may have given you a bum steer Adam. Here is a site that may be of interest to you while I find thew one I got my standard contract off. I was runnung on a four year old memory and that is not a good thing at my age, http://www.aracnet.com/~schornj/index.shtml That site has a lot of legal stuff on it. Not sure if it has a standard contract on it though. Graham ------------------ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/2/grahamhendersonmusic.htm

Hi All, The only actual publishing contract that you can access that I have found is the SONGWRITER'S GUILD contract. I went hunting some time ago and could not find much but samples such as listed on the Web Site listed above, BandRadio. If you want to veiw and or save the Songwriter's Guild Publishing contract just type Songwriter's Guild into a search engine and it will find it and then click on the links, THE CONTRACT, I think.
If you are developing contracts for yourself you should have an Attourny draft them for you, not exactly free. Good Luck.
