Don't mean to sound negative...but isn't age 9 a bit young?

No..... I do not think 9 is too young. I am developing a young kid group to record and perform music that would be good for that age group. Have you checked out what your local radio station is playing? This adult material is all our children have right now and as a producer and parent I feel there should be more young acts with songs kids can relate to.

Welcome to Just Plain Folks Your profile says you are the president/CEO of a company...what company? Do you have a web site? I happen to know a lot of young talented singers - some are in the 9-16 age range. I worked in music education for many years and know lots of kids who sing and are trained vocally. Would love to give them more specific information. Thanks. Emily emilysanders.net http://cdbaby.com/cd/emilysanders [This message has been edited by Emily Sanders (edited 08-10-2005).]

My company, Brooklyn West Records is new. I have over 25 years experience as a musican/producer/engineer/composer. There is no site up yet. I am speaking with someone about designing one. If you would like to know more about me look me up in google under Michael Campbell P&P Records or Michael Campbell Queen Constance records. I am planning a label tour that will begin in the summer of 2006. Thank you for responding and I welcome any ideas or input. The entertainment Industry is constantly changing so we must always be in a learning mode. Michael Campbell

Hi, Michael, Thanks so much for your reply! I appreciate the information...good luck in setting up your web site! I agree that the industry is always changing...and, as a parent, artist and educator, I also agree that we need more music for kids that reflects their needs. Let me know some specifics of what types of voices you might be looking for, and I will do my best to pass along the informaiton to kids that I know! Emily emilysanders.net
