My song "Inquisition," from my new CD Holy Wars, is one of the indie songs being featured at Neil Young's Living With War Today website. Currently, the song is under the "New Listings," when you click on the main page link to get the complete list of songs. (They only show the top 10 on the main page -- not exactly sure how the top 10 is computed....) Anyways, I think this is pretty cool. I don't know if Neil himself had anything to do with selecting these songs, since he is currently out on the CSN&Y tour; but even so... Feel free to go take a listen. If everybody goes and clicks on it, mebbe it'll move into the top 10 or something. --- Ed ------------------ http://www.edperrone.com http://www.myspace.com/edperronemusic

Hi Ed,
Congrats. I checked it out and saw 6 other JPF members also on the Top List and the New List. Excellent!

Thanks, guys. Sub, if you go to the site here http://www.neilyoung.com/lwwtoday/index.html there's a list at the right "Songs of the Times," which has the Top 10. Below that it says "Click here for the complete list," which gives you a new page with lots of songs. "Inquisition" is in the 3rd column about halfway down. There is also a link for submitting your songs, so if anyone has any protest or "topical" songs, you might want to send them in. --- Ed ------------------ http://www.edperrone.com http://www.myspace.com/edperronemusic

http://www.neilyoung.com/lwwtoday/lwwsongspage.html I'm bumping this thread because Neil, et.al. just added the song THE EMPEROR'S NAKED by the group Team Banned. This is an internet collaboration and a cool production. Also... the song was co-written by me and Lee Roberson. I invite you JPFers to go click on it... http://www.neilyoung.com/lwwtoday/lwwsongspage.html (Oh, if you're PO'd at the Dixie Chicks you probably won't like this song, but a click is as good as a listen so go click ) ------------------ Later, Pat

Here's what I don't get.. With a population of over 40,573, how does Brian remember who is and isn't a JPF member??? I have a hard time remembering the names of the 5 guys in my own band. But, CONGRATS Ed! This is a really cool thing! Way to go! ------------------ Tom Tracy http://www.soundclick.com/tomtracy

Is that really Neil's website or just a bootleg? Last I looked, Neil didn't want any pics of himself on the www and those look like old tv shots. Just curious... ------------------ BuskerAlley - art and video BuskerCentral - reference and video

"The Emporer's Naked" is a very cool song, Pat! The list has really expanded since I first posted, I guess I got in early. Also dropped from #67 or something way down into the 200s ... but who's counting? It ain't a competition. And, yeah, it really is Neil's website. --- Ed ------------------ http://www.edperrone.com http://www.myspace.com/edperronemusic
