Ahhh,,,,took me some time, but I think I got the hang of it over there. Anyone else use the free Songramp site?

I am on songramp John. I am a PRO member though. The three song limitation for freebies was way too small for me to live with and $30 a year isn't a lot anyway considering it has been so producytive there for me, and many others. A real creative site from all aspects of the caper i am sure. They are about to go through a change come August. Some of the features of which i like and some I don't. Case of wait and see how it pans out I guess. For now they are great thougth. I put an instrumental up last night and today there is an ask from one of the best guitarists there to drop some guitar on it as in my post, I said I was open to some, it being all midi and wordless at the moment. Good site for sure. Both the Writer's Room Forum and Music Seeking Lyrics genre sections are both very productive. About 10 percent of the songs now on the hot 100 of open mike there, statred off in one or the other of these. The Writer's room Forum is the Lyricist's equal to Music Seeking Lyrics genre, and i am proud to say, they were started at my suggestion when i first went there. Back when they had something like 50 members. They bare growing. Graham ------------------ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/2/grahamhenderson_music.htm

OK,,so they let "anybody" in! Ha!!!
Yeah, I saw your nane there while joggin' around the site. Man,,,,when do you find time to actually do music, with all the posts here and there and probably everywhere? YOu are amazing, to be THAT active in so many ways! (I know how much you do sing out and DJ and all! You are certianly "doing music"!
The free site is restricting. The most I've seen on any site. Just about forces people to pay up, especially when it's 30 bucks a year. They knew exactly what they were doing, with making the free option crap. But, it's a business, and there are a lot worse going on in the world, business wise.
Soundclick, which gets little respect from some, (this is about the free option), gives an unlimited amount of songs one can have, and can upload them as fast as they can get em up! On Songramp, one can upload ONE song per TWO Weeks! What? Pony non-express! Even Songplanet has better options, plus radio stations to play artists on. Pretty cool site actually.
Thanks Graham! Appreciate your reply abd time,,,,,which I still don't know how you do it all in 24 hours a day! You da Music Man!

You can load one song a day on SongRamp Jon. Not one a fortnight. That is one of their confusing things re editing a song , in their terms of service. Counter productive on a writer's forum in my book. Some of that is about to change in August with the new platform. Being old and retired helps a lot in the time thing John. All day, every day is mine to use as I want. I actually don't post much any more, and haven't for a couple of years. Can't believe somebody hasn't taken my crown off me yet in fact. And yep. Soundclick is still the place most of my stuff goes, and stays because of the no limit thing. SongRamp has produced the best contacts and collabs of any site I have been on. And has also taken over as the most plays of my stuff also. Probably due to the fact, I do listen to a lot of member stuff, and critique as I go. The old give and you will get syndrome works pretty good most times. Graham ------------------ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/2/grahamhenderson_music.htm
