Perhaps everyone should complain to Ebay that it's a scam and that a "Record Deal" isn't where the artist pays money upfront to get a "deal." It's false advertising and I'd think that Ebay would have a policy against false adversting right? It's fine to auction off services, but the way to market it is misleading this way.

there should be some kind of union we all belong to so we can kick butt on people like that! why are we so helpless? generations of artists and still no voice... I feel bad for the ones who are getting sucked into that. Linda ------------------ http://www.soundclick.com/lindaanthony you think you can or you think you can't; you are right"

Did you see that one of their other products is "a starring role in a hollywood film"!
Unbelievable!
I can't imagine ebay approving this kind of product. I didn't think service products were allowed by them.

Not sure how he's getting away with what he's doing. Part of the problem is.....folks get pulled in because the guy has a 100% rating with 122 (sorry if that's not the right #) happy customers....0 complaints...
What I'm curious about...Does anybody know how to check what type of stuff he's promoted in the past?
I read some of the reviews from the 122 but am trying to remember how to look at specific past transactions........

Kaley </font> You can't check beyond 90 days. Also, the majority of what is new enough was for purchase feedback, not selling. The only sale was a private transaction, presumably one of the "deals". ------------------ DakLander

This was my favorite part of that: "NOTE: ALL of our auctions for your protection will now be listed as private. This is being done to protect our bidders from any scams or solicitations". Protect from any scams! Man,,,I had a good laugh at that one. Clever bunch of no conscense, heartless sharks. But we've seen and heard their types plenty of times. I would think with all the sites for songwriters that there would be a lot less unknowing singers/bands out there compared to before. Now there's mass internet use by all ages. Just with this warning alone, it goes to show that someone will always spot something and report it on their favorite site, if not sites. The gonads of those butt-heads though! What a waste of trying to be clever. Where do I sign?!!! John

Hi...I think it's very wrong... but I still say that gal's spotless record. ( 46 sales ((not 122))..the rest purchases )...pulls unknowing people in....... It would be interesting to bookmark that auction and see what happens with the comments from this point forward.

If you go to the eBay help pages, you will be able to find forms to report fraudelent auctions. You will need the auction number. And make sure to search and/or click until you find the correct form (i.e., scams are different from illegal things like drugs, etc.). eBay does pull lots of auctions, but they depend on the general community to spot and report problems. --- Ed ------------------ http://www.edperrone.com/music/

I think it's legit. You don't get that many good credit reports on eBay if you are total flake. Sooner or later a flake gets flaky.
If I had the money to spend, I'd call them and talk for a few days before spending it...but what if this is Keith Olsen's wife and he's doing it for her?
Stranger things have happened....
