Great idea. I think it loses continuity between the heores and the movie stars. My opinion it would be good to split this up to two songs and keep the star /celebrity references, which are very cleverly done, in one song and move the political / war personalities to another song. The celebrity group could change to last round of applause or last curtain call.
Take it for what it cost you.

Hi Greg and Ron, It was a surprise to me also that you start out with war heroes and then onto other celebrities...but then it bacame a thrill to see all that you have included and that many I had forgotten about until now! I hope you got to record it! It flows nicely and it's a very warm song. ------------------ My Sound Click In a time of universal deceit, speaking truth is a revolutionary act", George Orwell MySpace

I like how you mixed up the heroes. It shows how many different folks can be heroes. I'd like to hear it when you get it finished!

Greg (and Ron), I sort of have mixed feelin's about the combination of war heroes & heroes of another kind. I see Dave's point, but at the same time I agree with Charlann...everyone has heroes from different walks of life. It feels like that's the angle you are coming from. Since we all know I can't play the guitar, I'd love to hear this together with the melody. Is it recorded??? God bless! Greg and Ron,
I also like how you used all kinds of heroes.
But what of the unsung heroes?
I think caught a typo. They are such sneaky little critters.
they taught the WHOLE world to dance
