You're Still Not Free I used to be on this website years ago as VNorth and disappeared for about 15 years. I came back as VNorth2. For the past 10 years I have, among other things, been recording at a small electronic studio in Berwick Nova Scotia. 40 songs later I am now putting out my music on youtube. This is my first attempt. I wrote this song about 2 years ago. Steven https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTwCQgGaGiY&feature=youtu.be

Great production. Love the sax. You really succeed in creating a dramatic atmosphere. I'm not sure the lyrics consistently live up to that. In particular, I would go back and change the beginning, if you still can. It seems to me that you could use that time for something more significant than the fact that people called him by his name...
"There was a man They called him Martin The people called him Martin Martin Luther King."
Overall, I think this is really well done.

Nice production but incomplete message I'm afraid... "They" is far too vague for such a politically charged assertion.

Thank you for the listen and your comments, most appreciated.
The use of they, them and their was deliberate. I'm pretty much OK with the message of the song.
