To do it we'd need 10 interested people. It only requires a laptop or cellphone with a Camera/audio. If there are 10 people, each gets 4 minutes for a song and 4 minutes to discuss/get feedback, you have a nice 90 minute gathering, make better friends, find co-writers, learn if your song connects at all (you'll know by watching people listen as much as their words). As I said on another board, my local NSAI chapter has been doing this quite successfully since we have been unable to meet in person. The secret might be not to do it too often, so that people really look forward to it and there is a decent turn out. Since "lag-time" kills true "real-time" interaction, would it be beneficial to schedule times for people to discuss just one song/collaboration at a time? I just think there's already plenty of platforms out there to "show off" lol... If we gave this live interaction more structure and purpose then it could be more useful.
