Whoever your demo singer is is spot on! Love the lyric, love the song! I didn't see the lyrics posted, but I heard them loud and clear. It's almost like I'm listening to a fallen solider..............which may be the little piece missing to make this a more heartfelt personal song. Like Driving with Private Malone .............I was also thinking the title might be Miss America.... like a double meaning (?).
I guess I'm looking for a true (even if made up story) of a veteran....... who is talking about America as if she was a woman you spent your life defending... and you gave your life for her................does that make sense?
Let me add something.... when you say I miss America you're making the doom and gloom that America is already gone... and nobody wants to sing along with that. We want to sing along with............ this is MY America... and she will never go down without a fight sort of lyric.................. (yes?no?)
Did you mean that you miss being in the country of America or the promise of America... I'm so confused. hahha

"Whether your next song is #1 on Billboard, or a critical failure by all measurable standards, go look in the mirror. You are the exact same person you were the day before your received the news. Never forget that." -Brian Austin Whitney
