It's been a while since I've been here. Hope all are you are well. Here's my latest. Stay safe. ANOTHER COVID DAY Words / Music: John Taylor ©2021 https://badbetsy.com/track/2588603/another-covid-dayINTRO VERSE 1 Grab my mask And I wash my hands No place to go, everything's banded Friends and Family Are possible threats Many decisions I might regret CHORUS Keep your distance and stay away We're all living in another Covid Day I want to breath the same air that you do I want to spend another day with you. VERSE 2 Unspoken fear Running through Every strain they announce is new Normalcy is sitting alone I Curse the loneliness And stare at the phone CHORUS Ventilators and airways We're all living in another Covid Day I want to feel the same air that you do I want to spend my life with you. INSTRUMENTAL CHORUS Keep your distance and stay away We're all living in another Covid Day I want to breath the same air that you do I want to spend another day with you. OUTRO

Hi Iggy,
It's good seeing you back on the board! The lyrics will grow more powerful once we're looking back to this past year for sure. I think you could get your solo areas more pronounced out front--maybe have a short interlude after verses to better launch choruses. I felt the chorus after the last solo launched better because of that--food for thought. You always have interesting melodies--nice one!

Thanks for the listen and the kind words. You gave me some good ideas. Yes it's been a while since I've been here. I do check in every now and then but didn't post since my songwriting has pretty much stopped. My band "Off Our Rockers" kept me busy until Covid hit. Now I wake up, eat, sleep and repeat the following day.

Hello Iggy I suppose we all have our COVID songs and ideas and wonder which route to go down to produce them. I did one with Dave Lekich, cunningly disguised lol You've gone the 'ole hog. Good production and vocal. Regards John
