Hello,
Yes, we're fine. I'm quite a bit ouf of Nashville, about 15 miles, so we had no damage, but pretty much all internet, cable, phones, were out for a few days. Just came back on. We didn't even have news for a lot of it. Most of our devices didn't get anything, so we all had a black out and with the covid stuff, even close neighbors were not able to communicate very much. I have many friends affected by the blast, who live down there, one, a friend who lives outside Detroit, but has a place downtown, about two blocks from the blast center. Almost every building around, had windows blown out and a lot of damage, except his. He had no damage at all, which is always the way these things, storms, tragedies, etc. are. Very random, very strange.
Nashville has had quite a year. You finally get tired of talking about it. Not much to say. I hope we'll be back, I have my doubts. Many of the places downtown in that area, will have such structural damage, they will have to be torn down. Much of the town has gone through so much, it probably will never really be back. Unfortunate. You just kind of decide to deal with it how you deal with it. At this point, we'd expect to wake up to news of a giant asteroid headed directly to Nashville and say "Well, that's about right."
Some times it rains sometimes it pours, sometimes it's acid and melts every thing down. Guess that's the time.
