I wrote this song with a friend 50 years ago with a folk feel to it. Wow, your all over the place! I like that  I would change "Don't they know" to Don't you know and shorten it... Don't you know, Don't you know, Don't you know You're headed down a one way street And perhaps a tag line or pre-chorus... The world is larger than you think Just some thoughts
