The first thing I want to emphasize is election fraud my ass!

It seems that the Liar in Chief wants us all to believe that his 72 million votes trumps the almost 78 million votes cast against him, because those almost six million votes he lost by and more were all fraudulent. Not that he has evidence mind you, just because he cannot fathom losing. Somehow he believes losing by a landslide gives him a mandate for a second term if he pouts long enough. Somehow he believes his losing the popular vote twice cannot possibly be true.

He does not want a democracy, he wants a hypocrisy wrapped in a plutocracy inside his kleptocracy.

He does not respect the American people who fight in the armed forces. Calls dead soldiers suckers and losers for dying. Denies they are heroes if they are captured, held and tortured. Insults those Silver Star families who speak out against him. It is telling that the nearest he personally came to an armed forces fight was avoiding the draft

He does not respect women and would like them all to be demure and sexually compliant. A rape or sexual assault here and there is no problem. He simply hires lawyers to fix things.

He does not understand that the reason for Black Lives matter is because for too long they have not

He cheats at golf. He is under investigation for tax fraud. He will be facing several civil suits when he’s gone. He has cheated business people and ordinary people out of money and says it’s the art of the deal

His enablers are so far up his ass he walks funny. They are along for the ride because they desperately want power at any cost and their transactional approach is designed to save their own asses and gain their own sycophants so they too can walk funny

His enablers say he is not lying, just presenting alternative facts

His enablers say give him time to process this, that losing hurts.

I have news for him. Sore losers are mocked by history. Sore losers are seen as worse than losers. And this sore loser is skating dangerously close to undermining US confidence in its electoral system

He values personal loyalty more than loyalty to country, more than loyalty to The Constitution.

His strategy is to dehumanize and divide, to appeal to fear and offer himself up as some golden saviour, but The Donald is just another Joseph McCarthy, full of his own excrement

He does not believe in science and thinks hope is a strategy. He absolves himself of responsibility for the ravages of Covid and the many American dead, with more dying to come

He counters protest against the use of excessive force by police with excessive force

I could go on, but I think my message is clear

The election was not stolen from him, he deserved to lose.

That so many voted this election is a tribute to all Americans. Those who voted for Trump love their country, and are patriots. Let no one deny that. The fact they overlooked his character flaws because they believed his agenda was their agenda is honest and appropriate and should not be regarded as any flaw of their character, citizenship, or beliefs

But the truth of the matter is that in 2020, President Elect Joe Biden got more votes than presidential candidate in history, almost 6 million more votes than The Loser…and The Loser will take his proper place in the line of US Presidents and in the history of the country

Hi John...I'm not primarily interested in whether writing has a social agenda, but whether it's well written. What you have here seems like a reply on the HuffPo's comment section. Fine, whatever.

What really interested me was your mention of Heron. I read B Movie and listened to about a minute of it.

It's awful. CK's "the world is dying" rants are better.

I bring this up because Heron gets referred to now and then as a "poet" but when I look at his stuff, it's really, really bad.

Re The Huffpost rant is probably more on the mark than not. I normally write from an intellectual perspective in the sense that I like taking a subject and writing interesting lines around that

Fair enough. I'm at a loss about Heron, though. I've criticized stuff on the mp3 board that was better than his. I skimmed his Wiki page and it practically canonizes him. For what? Reciting bad writing over a simple backing?

Ps...I think Trump lost. But I'd have more faith in the election's integrity if the same people who called Kavanaugh a gang rapist and produced half a dozen loony false witnesses weren't calling Trump a liar. And Hitler.

Yeah Couch. You and I go way way back to the beginnings here and Shayne's place, and we have seen some pretty cool writers come and go. Graham was definitely one and his tales were lots of fun. I do miss "our Golden Age" with the likes of Greydog, Bobbie, Tink, Tampa Stan, Bob Young, Blake Hill etc when it was all about writing. Stan and Graham still lead in post numbers

Do give GSH a chance by surveying more. I freely admit some of it is hard to listen to, but other stuff is pretty solid

Yeah, I wouldn't call this writing per second, I'd call it commentary which can't really be critiqued

And add to the list that Trump by refusing to concede is impeding urgent stimulus to families and small business, one that he promised would be huggghhgeu, after the election, apparently it only applies if he won.

Personally I think he's setting up his next career move, the key is to not be forgotten. Loved...hated...but not forgotten

I won't work on it, in order for me to be all in, its gotta be something compelling to me, I lack motivation to do all that work for a goof, unless a really funny song

In the twenty years I have known Couch he has definitely said good things about lyrics.

Some of mine, some of others. But he is non BS and says what he thinks

I believe he is honest about it and does not put down for the sake of putting down or for the sake of elevating himself

In fact if you know Couch as long as I have, his consistent advice is to "study the great songs, study songs you like" as a way to get better.

But no, he rarely does full, in depth critiques...and that IMO is fine by me. It's just how he participates
